The “Sandy Bottom” Gulf Front condo includes new furnishings, appliances, counter tops, tiled floors, and freshly painted walls. This is the perfect unit for newlyweds, honeymooners, or small families. This fully furnished, one bedroom condo sleeps 2-6 (King bed, 2 hall bunks with curtain, and queen sleeper sofa with a 6 inch thick mattress) is a coveted west end unit of the small complex. This means it has unobstructed views of the ocean in front of the unit, and has the west end unobstructed panoramic view to observe the spectacular sunsets every evening from your private covered balcony; and even from within the condo itself! This unit is rented by owner…not a rental agency! This also means your check-in and check-out are right at the unit and you don’t have to find a rental agency to get the key, or pay a “processing fee” when booking. See new just lowered rates below!

The Sandy Bottom is unit # 16 in the Mistral, a very popular low rise 3 story 24 unit complex on Hwy 30-A, in the Seacrest Community. The complex is ideally located between Seaside Beach and Rosemary Beach and has incredible views of Destin to the west and Panama City Beach to the east. You are only minutes away from upscale shopping, golf, and wonderful restaurants. Unit #16 is on the second floor, which is the first floor that can see over the dunes to see the beach itself from the unit; and being the end unit, it is also right next to the condo's dedicated beach access. The Sandy Bottom is also now serviced by the new Panama City Beach Airport.

A 16.9 mile paved bike path crosses through the front of the property for those who want to visit the neighboring communities via bike, take a stroll, or go for a run in the mornings to start your day. Bike parking is provided at the complex, as are community charcoal grills for your use. The beach access comes complete with 2 showers so you can rinse yourself when you leave the beach and go to your private balcony for a relaxing view, nap, read a book, or just sit and listen to the waves.

Did I mention the condo comes fully furnished with full size front load washer and dryer, all linens, and of course a fully furnished kitchen, wireless high speed internet, DVD players, and 2 wall mounted flat panel TVs; just to name a few of the amenities?

What makes this condo unique

We believe we have the best of the best here at Mistral Condos. Our unit is the west end unit so sunsets are fantastic, and the unit is also on the second floor of the complex which has the best views of the beaches below...not just a view out some where into the water.

Relaxing week at the Beach

We had a wonderful week in this condo and truly enjoyed the location, easy bike access to restaurants from Seaside to Rosemary Beach. Views were outstanding, nice breeze on the deck, and the beaches weren't crowded as in the larger resorts. Mornings at the beach followed by afternoons napping with the toddler or golfing with the older child. Decor and amenities, including beach toys, were perfect for our pair 3 and 7. I cannot say enough about how easy the owner was to communicate with. The condo was well-cared for and the on-site laundry made packing a breeze. The nearby restaurants were outstanding and the bike paths made exploring so much fun!

Sandy Bottom

Sandy Bottom is a great basic beach condo. Comfortable bed, great tv's and good kitchen.While not a fancy place, its beachy decorated and certainly comfortable for two people. The stunning view from the balcony makes it a perfect place to get away from it all. Best beach in the world (Not kiddin')

Hard to beat the view!

This was our second stay at Mistral #16. The location is between Alys Beach and Seaside -- nice because there are no crowds. Everything you need is at the condo. Even beach towels! You walk out the condo, go down a short flight of stairs and you are on the walkway to the beach. the owner, Diana Hannah, could not be any nicer to work with. We really appreciated having a code box on the door so we did not have to check in with a rental agency. It made our trips in and out so much easier. We would definitely recommend Sandy Bottom!

Perfect vacation!

My husband and I had a perfect mini vacation staying at "Sandy Bottom" for 4 nights. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We loved not having to check in to a real estate office to get a key but used the electric lock/combination on the door. (Also no processing fees) Diana was quick to respond, helpful to any of my questions and was easy to work with.

Would loved our location because it was not too crowded on the beach even though we went at a crowded Spring Break time.

The only negative is the outside of the whole building really needs to be painted. Would not recommend a place for people with disabilities because there are 51 stairs down to beach. However, this is how it is to all surrounding lodging due to sand dunes.

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your mini vacation and hope you plan a return trip soon! Also glad you commented on the outside of the building needing painting...yes it most definitely does! Just last week though the homeowners association board met and approved a contractor to paint the whole outside of building including doors and porches. They are to start immediately so hopefully the Mistral Complex will have a new paint job by summer. Look forward to having you again!

Perfect!!

We could not have been happier with this condo! Everything was just as promised and more! The view is INCREDIBLE!!! The owner is wonderful, on top of communication, and ensures that you have everything you need for your stay! Very highly recommended for a great, relaxing getaway!

We loved our stay at Sandy Bottom. The owner was wonderful to work with, and the description was accurate. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is fantastic. I definitely recommend staying here, and hope to return soon.
