My family had a wonderful time at this property. The location was great, very scenic and centrally located to all the area's attractions that we wanted to visit.
We felt comfortable and welcome the minute we arrived. The location of the house in relation to what we wanted to see/do was perfect. It was still private enough to enjoy the outside areas. I will definitely recommend it to others.
Our first Vrbo stay couldn’t have been better. Beautiful cabin situated in the heart of all we wanted to see, with the nicest, friendliest, most helpful host ever!
This property was perfect for my family. It was quiet and had everything we needed. The view from the deck was beautiful. My kids enjoyed exploring around the property. We had deer almost every morning and 1 elk. We would highly recommend this property!
The property had great views from the deck and lower deck. The cabin/house was very spacious and each bed room offered privacy. The lower level area was perfect for enjoying a ball game on the large TV, pool or simply relaxing. The showers were awesome too.
Overall a very good place to stay and would recommend and would go back for another stay!
It was a perfect home for our family of 5 plus a guest! It was private yet close to all the many attractions we wanted to see. So cozy with updated bedrooms and bathrooms! The mountain views off the deck made for beautiful mornings & we brought dinners back with us so we could enjoy evenings playing pool or playing games! It truly was perfect!
Beautiful property inside and out. Super clean and wonderfully stocked with necessities. Spectacular communication with the owner. If I could give this property more than 5 stars I would!
We stayed for 4 nights and had an awesome experience. Natalie, the property owner, was super responsive and answered all our questions quickly. The house is newly remodeled and really nice inside, pictures don’t do it justice. Location was great - we had easy day drives to the Black Hills, Badlands and Devil’s Tower, plus Custer and Rushmore. Fantastic experience!!
This was the perfect spot for our first visit to South Dakota. We loved the cabin and its decor. By far, the most well-stocked VRBO we’ve encountered. The remote location and beautiful views from the upper deck were just what we needed. We looked forward to daily visits from deer and turkeys grazing just off the lower patio. Close to the black hills and Custer State Park. We also made day trips to the Badlands Andy Spearfish Canyon. Would stay again!
This is a really nice property that is perfect for a family or multiple couples. The set up allows for both privacy or time together. We enjoyed the views and having a garage was really nice. As far as the area we thought Lintz pizza was awesome! It is very close to Mount Rushmore and Rapid City. We also visited Devil’s tower, Badlands, and Spearfish canyon. Those were farther away but worth the drive.
Perfect location. The proximity to all the black hills has to offer was perfect. We enjoyed the pool table and padio. The kitchen is well equipped and convenient to cook, the place was very well cleaned, the bathrooms were very nice. Seamless check-in and check-out process. Amazingly relaxing atmosphere for us to come back to each night after a day of adventure in the park. Most beautiful sunsets.
Fabulous cabin close to so much in the southern Black Hills
The cabin was absolutely perfect! The pictures really don’t do it justice. It’s remote, but still 15-30 minutes from everything we wanted to see and do. The whole house is super well equipped with any and everything we needed. Natalie was a breeze to work with, and her parents, who live on the other end of their 40 acres, were so sweet to meet. We absolutely recommend this place! We have rented VRBO properties across the country and this one is a top 5 without question!!
From the moment we walked into the cabin, we felt at home. Loved the whole place! Our teenage son loved having his own space downstairs and we enjoyed some time together each night downstairs watching a show on the big tv or playing pool. My husband and I loved both the upper and lower patio areas. LOVED the quiet and the sound of the wind blowing through the trees and looking up at the amazing night sky. Also loved that we were away from any direct neighbors. Really felt like we had our own sanctuary. But, the location was great in that it was fairly close to everything we wanted to do in Keystone, Rapid City and the Badlands. Natalie definitely knows how to take care of her guests and really went out of her way to think of all the little extras. Definitely a 10+!
This was one of the best Vrbo experiences we’ve had. The cabin is lovely and the view was amazing. The decks both offer views that just makes coffee taste better. The lower deck offered shade and we sat out there for hours. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We were able to explore the property and take in nature and the beauty of the place. There was plenty of sleeping areas and we were killed to sleep with the sound of coyotes howling in the distance. We didn’t see any deer this trip, but saw plenty of turkeys up on a nearby ridge. Natalie couldn’t have been any better at communication, and even offered to share the name of someone who picked up and put away groceries I ordered before arriving. This cabin has a great mix of old and new and our family got a lot of enjoyment out of the pool table in the lower level at night after a day full of adventure. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
The cabin was perfect! It had the charm and warmth of log cabin home with updated bathrooms and a lower level that was wonderful.
The views are beautiful especially in the early morning. The stars at night are endless. The location to is very central to Mt. Rushmore and Custer State park. The host’s were very responsive and the cabin was very well taken care of. We will definitely book again in the near future!
A wonderful mix of old and new. This is a beautiful, rustic cabin with modern amenities that provide comfort and convenience in a semi-remote setting. Just far enough out to feel secluded from civilization but close enough to be at a store/gas station within 5 minutes or so. Love the large deck overlooking the property. Sunrises and stargazing are fantastic. Loved it!
The owners have done a fantastic job and it appears they have more they are wanting to do. It will just keep getting better!
