We loved our stay. The house was perfect. Great location between the badlands and mt. Rushmore. Our stay was very comfortable, quiet and beautiful scenery. We would highly recommend :)
Clean, charming cabin in a perfect spot for exploring the Black Hills. We truly enjoyed our stay. Visited the Badlands, Devils Tower, Custer State Park, and of course Mt Rushmore. The Iron Mountain Road is super close with great views of Rushmore, tunnels, pigtail bridges. Glad we got to meet one of the cabin’s owners and say hello. I hope we get a chance to stay here again because we definitely would.
We loved our stay there! The house was perfect for my family. The location was great ! We were able to go to all of the fun things we wanted to see. And come back for a quick rest before we did more. I love how safe the area was too . We will definitely try to come back again!
The host was very welcoming. My husband even had opportunity to visit with her when he went for a walk near the property. He enjoyed this and appreciated her welcoming friendliness.
We enjoyed our stay. Good location and beautiful views.

We loved our stay. The pictures don't do it justice. It was so clean, larger than expected, and nicely decorated. Beautiful surroundings and wildlife everywhere. Highly recommend.
Gorgeous scenery and a peaceful vibe — perfect for both relaxing and exploring with kids. Such a cozy, family-friendly cabin we can’t wait to return to!
Stayed at the property for a family vacation in the Black hills. Excellent location near enough to all the attractions yet far enough out of town to have solitude. Would stay again
We enjoyed visiting Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park! The buffalo were cool to see and Keystone was a great little place to eat and do a little shopping.
This is a wonderfull place to stay at. It took effort to find anything inside that was not dusted or cleaned. The AC works well, all amenities worked and were spotless. The outside has a great view, plenty of animals and birds can be seen. The location is great too, right next to trails, creeks, and Keystone just up the road a bit.

About the host
Hosted by Doug and Wendy Skogen
Doug and Wendy purchased this cute cabin in 2013 since then we have done an almost complete remodel on it. Now it is our turn to share the beauty and history of this little place that was once a town of it's own! This town was called Glendale and was famous for mining Tin during the time Mt Rushmore was being born!
Why they chose this property
This property is located just a few miles outside of Keystone off a paved road that is very easy to access. The Glendale cabin is just minutes from most attractions in the hills. You will have all the amentias your own home has to offer.
What makes this property unique
Gold Panning in the creek that runs through this property. Gold pans will be provided!!
