This condo is Pet Friendly!! Dogs only! If you are bringing your furry friend there is an additional $100 pet fee to us and $150 per pet to the front desk along with a $100 per pet dog lead fee that is refundable when returned at the end of your stay. Please let us know prior to booking if you will be bringing your dog. Please note some breeds of canine are not permitted by the complex' HOA.



Lighthouse on the Bay, formerly known as Phoenix on the Bay II 2805



Lighthouse On The Bay is one of the most luxurious condominiums in Orange Beach! You can enjoy a spectacular view of the Bay from the balcony or through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the unit. Also, no need to keep up with keys during your stay, there is a keyless entry lock on the front door!!



Amenities are abundant at this condo in Orange Beach: the unit is appointed with full-size appliances, wet bar with ice maker, 51" flat screen HDTV in living room. There are also TVs in the bedrooms, laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a king bed, king bed and sofa sleeper in the 2nd bedroom and there is a queen 3rd bedroom. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. The master bathroom has double sinks, a jetted tub and a walk-in shower as well. There is a gorgeous kitchen with granite counter tops, custom cabinetry. Three is also a wet bar with an ice maker!



There is a lazy river, outdoor pool with a fenced-in kiddy pool, heated in-door swimming pool, two Jacuzzi's, state-of-the-art fitness center, 2 saunas and a roof-top tennis court at this Orange Beach vacation rental.

Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay here. The amenities were great, and we loved being able to book a spot at the marina for our boat for 3 days. The condo was pretty clean, but the vents had some mold on them, there was a lot of dirt under the furniture, and there were unknown stains on the couch in one of the king bedrooms. The furniture outside included 2 broken chairs, so we couldn't all sit together outside. The other outside chairs were pretty worn out, and the screen door for the living room was broken when we arrived. All in all, it was a nice, spacious, and mostly clean condo. The location was awesome, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great. We had pretty much everything we needed and I had read reviews so I knew what we needed. I will say location is great if you like the bay and have a boat. We didn't and ended up staying on the beach side most of the time at our friend's condo. Keep that in mind it's a treck to get there. The condo is a little dated and pots/pans older. My son's best friend even swears his grandma had the same wallpaper! Ha All in all it was great and it made the hubby happy to have an escape from the sand and salt! This trip was a Christmas present for my son to see Red Clay Strays! Coming from Texas we expected a huge firework show but we were very disappointed! All I'm all our stay was great! Beds were comfy but thankfully we all brought our own pillows as these were not! FYI parking is horrible! If you drive a big truck like us I really recommend parking and having a golf cart. Make sure you reserve before you go! They were 100% sold out every where while we were there!

The owner was easy to communicate with and this place had 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a gorgeous view of the pool/lazy river, access to the gym, quick drive to the beach, and the neighbors were so friendly. I would stay here again.

One time only

The property was nice but the unit was dated with several items well worn or not working. The pool and the fact that it was pet friendly are the only things I can say to recommend this property. Security staff at check in were clueless and not friendly. We were not given armbands for the pool at check in but were roughly reprimanded the following day for not having them. We would probably not choose this location for future stays.

Great Pet and Kid Friendly Property

We had the absolute best time staying here! From booking to check-in, everything was smooth and easy. We brought our sweet pup along, and this condo was truly one of the most pet-friendly places we’ve ever stayed. Just a heads up — there’s a 150 non-refundable pet fee you’ll pay to the condo association, plus a 100 refundable deposit for a little one foot leash that clips between your dog’s collar and leash. When you turn it in at checkout, they’ll refund the 100 to your card.There are two big dog runs on property that are so easy to get to, and lots of green space. While pups aren’t allowed in the pool area, they can go almost everywhere else, which made it such a fun and easy stay for our whole family. We also met several owners who live on-site, and every one of them was so kind and welcoming.If I had to mention anything, it would be that the pool photos still show a water slide, but it’s no longer there. That was one of the reasons we chose this spot, so it was a little disappointing — I’d recommend updating the pool pictures online. Also, the rooftop tennis courts were closed, but the front desk said they’re being redone and will even have pickleball lines soon, which will be a great upgrade for future renters!Overall, we were just so pleased with our stay and would absolutely come back again, especially once the weather warms up for swimming. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place — we made such sweet memories!

Beautiful view, very clean

The condo was as described. It was beautiful and very clean. You definitely need a vehicle to get around, nothing much within walking distance. Everything is within a 15 min drive though. Such a great location. The view was gorgeous and the neighbors were very kind. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

The facilities are great and the view of Alabama point is stunning. We get the Gulf and the bay view! The condo is always clean and we get a note early in stay asking if we need anything. The landscaping is always perfections and enjoyable. The dog areas are always clean and well kept. We have stayed in this condo a couple of times and it is always clean and maintained very well. We are very thankful that there are some condos that still allow small dogs to come with us. Phoenix Rentals is always very helpful and easy to work with.

There is a lazy river pool which is great. Owner is very responsive to any requests we made. There is plenty do in the area and the beaches are beautiful. We saw the Blue Angels practice show in Pensacola which was at the naval museum. Great time and thanks again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am a former property owner so I understand the challenges of renting. With my properties, I never put the best furniture or supplies in them because they would eventually get broken or stolen. This property definitely fits that description. Older furnishings in need of replacement. General supplies that are either older or lacking in quantity. This looks and feels like a rental unit, which it is, but when I am in vacation, I want something special for the money I pay. The location is not ideal, making you feel more like you are in the woods than at the beach. The major issue I had was the cost of my dog. I chose this unit because it is one of the few complexes and units that allow dogs. However, I could have rented my dog it's own place for what the association and the owner charged. Sorry, but I won't be back.

Beautiful, quite property

Wonderful pet friendly property. Quiet, beautiful sun rises and sun sets. Clean pools and hot tubs. But definitely needs some repairs. Guest toilet did not work, one lounge chair had a hole, and the pillows and sheets need to be replaced. But as far as pet friendly hotels go it is very nice. Did have to pay $150 more and a $100 deposit for a collar, seems a lot, but will definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented this condo for family vacation to celebrate my parents 50 th Anniversary. We loved the unit and all the amenities. It was easy getting our parking pass and the gentlemen told us exactly how to get to the unit. It was nice and quiet everyone was very friendly. The door code box battery died and Julia was on it had it fixed promptly. We loved the lazy River, pool, and indoor hot tub. The view is beautiful from the unit. We will definitely be back!!!

Condo stay

Overall stay was good. Staff onsite very nice and helpful. We enjoyed staying here because of the cleanliness and quiet. I would stay here again. My only input is that they might want to take a kitchen inventory and replace some damaged and broken pieces. Its not too bad, just needs addressing. Also, more beach decor could make it more appeaing to guests. 2 broken chairs on bacony need replacing and wine fridge needs securing to counter for safety sake. Balcony lights need fixing and covering too. Its a great condo but a little more attention to detail would be nice for the price. On the upside the beds are great!

August Family Time

Overall pleasant stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the unit was as described/pictured and my family enjoyed our stay. There are opportunities for improvement. We had a couple of maintenance issues (i.e., broken smoke detector, clogged sink drains, light bulb replaced) that were quickly resolved when requested however better preventive maintenance would be preferred. Another major concern IMO was public access WiFi only (no option to use the password protected owners WiFi) which is a safety issue. Some items in the unit were dated and should be updated including no smart tvs (and one CRT TV!) , old filter style coffee pot (no capsule coffee maker), and kitchen did have limited items such as silverware, pans, etc. which would be a bigger challenge if you had the max of 10 people as the unit advertises. The unit could also use a deep clean - for example ceiling fans were caked in dust and sent dust bunnies flying when turned on. As for the property itself, everything was as advertised except for in the listing there are photos of a water slide at the pool- that has been ripped out unfortunately. We were also told by building staff that although our unit accommodates up to 10 we could only have 8 wristbands. This created a bit of an issue as I had members of my party coming and going at different times during the week so keeping track of and transferring bands was a pain. This should be made more clear in the amenities description.Having said all that I do also want to highlight what was great too. Property manager response to my questions was prompt and appreciated. Beds in all 3 bedrooms were soft and comfortable. Having a dedicated ice machine in the condo was great and being on the 8th (top floor) meant we had amazing views. The lazy river was also great and it wasn’t too crowded around the pool area any day we were there.
