We had an amazing time & the place was perfect. The decor was super cute, the beds & sofa were very comfortable, the kitchen had the basics & more - we absolutely loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The downtown area was cute and the canal was easily accessible from the property for kayaking. The house was clean and the check in process was easy. Would definitely recommend if you are staying in the area.

Inside cabin is clean and comfortable. Stocked with very basics like towels and linens. Outside is a little more “natural” than I expected. Short down to the creek. Very still area. Bring bug spray.

Dan and Patty Silver creek New York. We stayed at Tamaras cottage for 2 months and had a wonderful time. It's everything that Tamara describes and more. It was super clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated and looks great. The town is 5 minutes away and has lots of great restaurants and shops. The beach is 20 minutes away and is the nicest beach we have ever seen Tamara is a super host she gets 5 stars and so does her cottage. We highly recommend staying here if we decide to come back to this area we will definitely stay here again. Book this place now before someone else does

This property was advertised on a tidal creek and it was. The problem was the covered boat/kayak slip was in terrible shape and difficult to get to because of the high weeds approaching it. It was basically unusable. The narrow boardwalk on each side was in very rough shape and some minor repairs appeared to have been recently made, but were not close to being safe to use. Additionally, the place was filthy. The yard was a disaster as well. A lot of uncut weeds is what it amounted to. I intended to do a little fishing and crabbing while there but was completely unable to because of the condition of the grounds. The owner has a property book inside that warns you to use the boat house "at your on peril" !There was a roach on the bed the first night and a bug of some description on the kitchen counter and a spider in a glass of water left out over night.The only TV reception we got was on UTUBE. We got to watch a lot of family feud. We were unable to get any news stations.The air conditioner worked great thank goodness. We are declaring this trip a total loss relative to what we went there to do.

Everyone please read the other reviews and check pictures of the boathouse. Caution is suggested for WILDLIFE in and near the water. * Rural Florida has insects for sure, and plenty of wildflowers!! This guest had trouble modifying the reservation to add more guests. Became frustrated as I attempted to help him. Come and enjoy this cottage and see the beauty for yourself!!

I would love to return to this little home. It is cute and comfortable and we liked the location. Communication with the host was great. We did have the power go out, but only for a minute or so. Great AC, okay internet. I enjoyed mornings on the deck.
