This newly renovated condo accommodates up to 6 people in comfortable beds - no sofa beds here! The master bedroom features a king size bed with a 12 inch ventilated cool gel topped memory foam mattress; the living room offers a queen size Murphy bed with a 10 inch memory foam mattress; and the hallway has built in twin bunk beds with USB ports for the kids. The bathroom offers entrances from both the master bedroom and the hallway for convenience. In addition, the unit has a washer and dryer

The kitchen has newer stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, custom cabinets, bar seating and everything you need to prepare your favorite meal or just snacks for the beach. The tastefully decorated living area offers plenty of room to watch movies on the smart TV, play board games or just spend quality time together. Walk out onto the oversized balcony with seating for 8 and enjoy ocean views or watch the kids take a dip in the pool, which is heated in the cooler months.

The best part about Pelican Place is location, location, location. Direct access to white sandy beaches and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico is just across the pedestrian friendly street. In addition, there are plenty of nearby shopping options, restaurants and entertainment.

* Note: Grand Caribbean East does not have elevators so this 2nd floor unit is only accessible by stairs.

This was a mother-daughter get away for a few days. The condo was clean and exactly as advertised. Access to the beach is super easy and just straight across the street. We had only 2 small complaints (which were not serious enough to even call the host over). The WiFi is quite slow, making it hard to stream any apps, and the tv is a little dated and difficult to operate because the remote options lag a bit when you’re trying to click on things. Maybe the remote batteries are low?? It rained one whole day during our stay so we stayed in a lot of that day watching movies. The other complaint is the upstairs neighbors were SUPER loud between the hours of 1 am- 3 am stomping the floors nonstop as they walked, and it seemed like they were just pacing around the apartment doing so. Again, we were only there a few nights and were not sure if those same people would even be there each night or not so we just didn’t mention it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Pelican Place and would definitely recommend staying there. Thank you, Shyla, for having us!

I always want to know when there is any issue especially a noise complaint. I’m sorry these issues impacted your stay. If I had know I would have done everything I could to earn a 5-star and continue my super host status.

Great Stay!

This is a very nice place. It almost seems as if it is brand new on the inside. The owner is a great host and was very accommodating to our request. The swimming pool and hot tub facilities were great. We will be back to stay here again for sure.

Fantastic Condo

The experience of staying in this condo was a totally enjoyable experience. The location was awesome, the condo was decorated perfectly, everything was very clean and Shyla’s communication was fantastic. We had a great time.

Family Thanksgiving trip

This place was perfect loved it all kind of was nice very easy to reach out to the property manager she was very nice helped out so much we enjoyed our week there definitely will be renting this property through the summer thank you so much and I was very much pleased

Would give 11 stars & recommend for anyone!

The place was perfect for the family. Great location, just across the street from the street, clean, the owner was friendly and kept us updated the entire way through booking and even after check-out. Very close to all to anything we needed. I would recommend this rental to my family & hope to be able to book again!

The Best

This vacation rental is absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed & more! The owner Shyla had constant communication and made sure everything was perfect including the little welcome basket of treats our 3 little boys loved This is our 8th time to Destin and 2nd staying at the Grand Caribbean East. We will definitely be back.The listing and pictures do not do this unit justice.

The condo was awesome. Small, compact but just enough room and super cute! The view was amazing. The beds were like clouds. To be able to just walk right across the street to the white sand beach was fantastic. The host was very easy to contact and fast to reply. definitely will be staying again!!

Absolutely Perfect!

We definitely will be staying in this unit again! It was exactly what we needed. The beds were perfect and the bathroom vanity held all my "junk". Most importantly, the owner's communication was exceptional! She went above and beyond! Great location to beach and super quiet. Cant wait to go back!

Amazing family time

We had amaizing time. Everything's was just great. The condo it just amaizing, clean,have everything what we need. You could see ocean from balcony, have all stuff for beach,chairs umbrella,kids toys. The owner very wonderful people very quike answer the phone or msg. We live that place. Definitely came back 🥰🥰🥰

Best place this side of heaven

My husband and I just loved everything about this condo. It was setup so well. We felt comfortable the moment we opened the door. We spent most of our time on the beautiful deck having our meals. Pool and hot tub were great. Can’t say enough good things about this unit snd our host. Hope to return next year for an even longer time.

I was raised and currently still live in Oklahoma. I'm a proud alum of Oklahoma State University. With the full support of my husband of 33 years, I made an offer on this beautiful property during our anniversary trip to the area in August. It was literally perfect! We absolutely love the beach and have made many trips to different beaches over the years. I wanted a place to retire one day and spend quality time with my family. My husband and I have two grown daughters and our best family memories always include a beach vacation. I hope in the near future to have grandkids to share my love of the beach with.

This condo has everything you need for the perfect vacation. A fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, beds for 6, washer and dryer in unit, over-sized balcony seats 8 with views of the gulf and the pool and hot tub area.
