Welcome to Big Red, your lakefront home-away-from-home located in the heart of the Canadian Lakes community—just an hour north of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

This spacious, family-friendly retreat offers an open floor plan, a huge deck, and plenty of room for the entire family—and maybe a few friends too! Whether you're enjoying quiet mornings by the water or fun-filled days on the lake, this home has everything you need for a memorable stay.

Step out the back door and right onto your private sandy bottom beach and boat dock on a quiet no wake lake—perfect for swimming of all ages, boating, fishing or simply soaking up the sun. Want to get on the water? A 23ft pontoon boat is available for rent during your stay. You can even explore multiple connected all-sports lakes by boat without ever leaving the water!

Looking for a fun twist? Cruise up into a nearby cove by pontoon and pick up pizza, ice cream, or coffee—right off the shore! It’s a one-of-a-kind experience your whole crew will love.

Put any furniture that you moved back in its original place. Including outdoor furniture, games and puzzles etc.

Very nice accommodations - exactly what was described. Plenty of toys for our kids (5-18) and a great yard for outside games. Cheryl was kind enough to order a corn hole game for our group and we gave it a good workout. Beds are quite comfortable, kitchen well-appointed (could use a large stockpot), and given the horrible heat our week, the AC was terrific. We hardly strayed from the house!

It was so very hot and humid the week of your stay and we had all of that smoke from the Canadian Wildfires too But, it sounds like the house proved to be a great shelter for all. We had a wonderful time! Hosts were very welcoming. Home was very clean and well-equipped. Lovely setting for family games. Main TV (56") was replaced with a much smaller TV. Association hours and rules were very restrictive; indoor pool closed and hours of other facilities not conducive for our use. Family loved the kayaks.

This property is by far the best Vrbo my family have rented so far! Not only is the house beautiful but it’s got plenty of room and is divided up nicely. There is plenty to do in the area and I highly recommend renting the boat for a week. You can go by boat to Antlers Steakhouse, Ice Cream shop and Pizza place. There are multiple beaches that you have access to also. Perfect place to bring the kids and dogs with plenty of activities, games, and fun! Highly recommend renting. There is also a fitness center you’ll have access to with a pool, waterslide and hot tub. The kids had a blast there too. Book it now!

Wonderful place to stay

We had a great time. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, hang out, and every game imaginable was available. Great back deck and a yard that's great for throwing a ball or a frisbee or anything else. Little beach space perfect for younger children and the kayaking on the lakes is great. Easy to get to and grocery nearby makes cooking for the group easy. Would recommend.

Great weekend with a family, like most, that has too much going in their daily lives. House was perfect, clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Enjoyed the large deck, backyard, beach, boat, and a great game of Monopoly!! Highly recommend.

This property is made for fun with its open floor plan and full basement to play games and hang out in. There is even a fun bunk room in the basement that any group of kids would love to sleep in. The upper level has a loft with 2 double beds over looking the kitchen, dining and living room. The home offers water views and a huge deck as well as a spacious back yard with a fire pit and private beach and dock.
