Beautiful Secluded Mountain Cabin
This cabin is tucked away in a beautiful aspen grove overlooking the Teton valley and beyond. The cabin was great for our big group with lots of beds and plenty of space to cook meals, spread out, and play games. Located near lots of great skiing!
Good size house for our family!!!
This house is tucked away a bit in the hills, but still close to town. Fletcher is great to work with, as he helped with every need or issue we had. There were noticeable cobwebs hanging and I took a broom and took care of it, but I did tell Fletcher so he could bring it up to the cleaners.. The view on the over sized porch is great!! While there, my husband took a little nature walk on the trail that is there.. In the evening, there were thunder storms, but nothing big at all and It was nice as the house sits upon a hill and we could see it. I think the only thing I would suggest is an SUV is needed. Once you get off the dirt road it turns into a rocky driveway.. But don't let that scare you at all, as most of the roads there are dirt ones.. Thanks Fletcher, we had a great time..
Dirty and no support from owner
We recently stayed here and despite the beautiful location and nice layout, were utterly disappointed with it's cleanliness and condition. The fridge, toaster oven and microwave were filthy, dead flies and cobwebs on all the window sills, the window and door were coated with paw prints / handprints, there was a lack of toilet paper and dish soap and the bbq grill was coated in grime. The floors looked like they had been barely swept and when we tried to vacuum, it was plugged with a massive hair/dirt plug. When we unplugged the vacuum and did the main floor, the canister was filled before we could finish the whole floor. When we emailed Fletcher to inform him of the situation, his response was that normally the cleaners did a good job, he had the place deep cleaned 2 times a year and that he wished we'd emailed him before we cleaned. We immediately replied with "send the cleaners, there's lots left to do" but never heard from him again for the entire trip. We left one day early and sent him an email saying so and how disappointed we were. No reply. We are not clean freaks but expect at least the basics. Oh well, you win some and lose some. This was clearly a loss.
I appreciate my renters taking the time to write a review and I am sorry the cleanliness of the house was not up to their expectations. The renters did contact me about the cleaning needs and I did agree to send the cleaners back into the house. When I contacted my cleaning crew they were not available to return. I also did not receive anymore communication from the renters so am confused why i did not receive it.
We have had hundreds of renters stay in this location and this was the 2nd complaint of cleanliness issues I have received in 6 years.
We strive to provide a comfortable experience in the rental and will take continue to take steps to meet our renters expectations in the future.
Great Mountain Retreat
My wife, 10 year old son and 9 year old daughter just spent a couple weeks at this awesome cabin in the woods. So great to feel so remote yet have easy access to town, hiking, biking, mountains and rivers. Daily marmot, deer, elk, owl and crane sightings. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Kids loved the freedom of the woods; catching bugs, exploring and the kind of free form imaginative play you only get in the wild. Special thanks to Fletch for making sure we were well taken care of. See ya next year!
Our Best Family Vacation Yet
Finding the property to please our diverse family can seem impossible but everyone liked this place. One son said that if we bought the place they would visit more often. There was room for another son's 36 ft. trailer. The grandson's loved the bunk room. The big deck is a wonderful gathering place and the bar-b-ques took most of the cooking outside. Star gazing from the hot tub at night was an added treat. The remote location was a surprise and the peace and quiet was wonderful. We were tempted to skip going to Jackson or any of the parks and just stay around the house to visit. The kitchen was well supplied and we only ate out once during our 4 night stay. We did the local pizza and brew place on our 1st night. The food and beer were good, reasonable and the staff went out of the way to be helpful. Victor is a great choice if you want to avoid the crowds but be close to all the major attractions. Thanks Fletcher - you and the cabin are on our "A" list.
This property will be everything that you think it should be. Our two night stay was great. I was traveling with family with everyone 48+ of age, 8 adults. Everyone felt at home and the stay was great. Our purpose was to visit Yellowstone but due to our late start to find a home, this was the closest we could get for the money. The car trip to Yellowstone west or south entrance is the same, about 2hr & 15 minutes with good traffic and weather. The property was not to blame, just my late start for looking. The property is VERY remote and quite. whether you are looking for privacy or a place to kick back this is the property. Newly built, it has everything you would need. The kitchen very nice the bedrooms are well equipped. All parts of the home is NEW and in very good condition as you would expect in a new home.
The owner was very good to communicate with. Easy to contact and really went out of his way to help us out at the last minute. The word will get back to the rest of the family and we will be back. The near by activies, attactions and restaurants are endless. Have fun - we certainly did. Thank you
