Twelfth or Never Retreat is your very own sliver of wooded paradise in Jefferson. There will be no dull days on this getaway with hiking, biking, and skiing within a short drive of home base. Not to mention, you can have plenty of fun right outside in the backyard outfitted with a spacious deck, ample seating, a fire pit, and charcoal grill.

Inside, you will be greeted by a unique layout featuring exposed ceilings and multiple seating areas for everyone to enjoy. There will be no need to venture out for meals with the full kitchen waiting to assist with preparing anything from a movie snack to a gourmet meal. Speaking of movies, you will have no trouble staying connected using high-speed WiFi and multiple TVs throughout the home. Extra perks include a private washer/dryer, central air-conditioning, and a wood stove.

We had a great stay! There was plenty of room, the kitchen is well stocked (lots of pots, silverware, and glasses). Jill shared the check-in info several days before and it was super easy. We would definitely stay again!

Winter Vacation

We had a wonderful week and Jill's home was perfect for our group. The layout of the house was great and the view of the mountains was amazing. Jill was a great host and was quick to answer any questions. .

Good stay near Mt Washington

Good house for a group. Plenty of beds, wood stove was nice to have. Some unfinished details but in the process of becoming a really great rental property

Amazing house!.

The house was absolutely perfect. Very clean, gorgeous views, lots of space and the host was so nice and easy to contact. We all enjoyed the house very much. This one of my favorite houses will definitely book again.

Excellent Rental

Twelfth of Never is exceptional. Clean, well-stocked, spacious. We were a group of adults and kids who rented the home for a weekend at Santa’s Village- this rental was more than perfect with plenty of room to spread out and a 10 minute drive to SV. Highly recommend!

Amazing

The place was very clean so much to do with friends and family. We enjoy every minute of it since the day we got there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I’ll be definitely come back here again. The host was very helpful.

Santa’s Village Visit

This home was perfect for two families consisting of four adults and four children ages 6,7,8, and 9. The views are spectacular and it’s very easy to get to. It’s very quiet and secluded, yet very close to the highway. It’s a perfect location for visiting Santa’s Village as its only 10 mins away. It’s an all around great place.

2023 Memorial Day Weekend

Very comfortable stay. I wish we had stayed longer. With two levels, and a loft, the house has plenty of room. The view from the back is excellent! Enjoyed the fire pit. Good places to visit within one hour, like Story Land, Conway, Littleton, and Lancaster (which is actually pretty close).

Family base for local wedding

Comfortable beds, clean and so convenient to local wedding venue. Kitchen is well stocked. My disabled parent was able to easily park and enter main floor living area with a bedroom and bath close. Beautiful scenery, wish we could have planned an extra day to have a outside fire and enjoy the area.

Santa’s Village trip

The property looked beautiful in the pictures and was even better walking into it. My kids and their friends wanted to go back once we pulled out of the drivewaY. Very clean and all the accommodations you could expect. The owner was very responsive and made things very smooth on all accounts. We’re already talking about going back for a trip in the summer. 5 stars around the board!

Impressive House

House was really good, Me and my friends enjoyed staying in the house. The view from deck is really impressive and nice fire pit in the backyard. We would really come back and stay at this house for a week atleast. Jill was very nice person and he had responded within min's for any questions. I would definitely recommend staying at this house.

Great Winter Retreat

Beautiful open space with huge windows means a lot of natural light - don't think we turned the lights on except at night. Plus the mountain views are fantastic. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because the internet randomly stopped working at one point & I wasn't able to troubleshoot the router. I assume this was a fluke or maybe related to the storm we got on the day we arrived. Overall great stay!

9 of us stayed in this home to go to Santa’s village, and with it be less than 10 minutes from this

My wife and I have 3 kids, twin 12 year a old boys, and a 6 year on daughter. Our friends have 4 kid that are 12, 10, 6, and 3. There was more then enough space in this beautiful home for everyone to feel comfortable, and have their own space. There were also plenty of places within drinking distance to pick up food and supplies.

Amazing view

Property was exactly as described , plenty of space for 12 of us who were there for a wedding, 3 full baths , plenty of beds, lots of room to spread out , had everything we needed, as a suggestion perhaps an ironing board could be added , we brought our own but would be an easy addition, and a gas grill would be a bit more convenient than the charcoal grill …. Would definitely choose again as it’s in a great location that is convenient to all kinds of outdoor activities and the view out the back is pretty amazing , can only imagine what the view in foliage season is like… very convenient to have everything you need included with the rental and we’ll definitely be coming back

Spacious home in the White Mountains!

We stayed here as a group of 10 adults and 2 kids for 3 nights. The home was beautiful and spacious enough to accommodate our large family. The home was clean and updated with modern fixtures. The pictures in the listing don’t do the home justice, the views from the windows were incredible and overlooked the White Mountains. We loved using the fire pit outside! It’s a good location if you’re looking for a stay in northern NH. Jill was great at communicating with us and responded promptly with any questions. The check-in process was seamless. The only downside we had was that the beds in all the bedrooms were a bit uncomfortable, but not a huge deal! Overall great experience.

Lots of space

Plenty of room to spread out. The place is private and peaceful, no neighbors right next to you. Amazing view of the mountains! We watched a few thunderstorms with lightning. Spectacular to watch the storm approaching. Check in/out was easy and Jill was quick to respond when I had questions. I have 2 suggestions. The kitchen is very well stocked with kitchen ware but I had to rearrange a cabinet to just get 2 small shelves to store food. Mostly we kept what couldn’t go in the fridge in grocery bags on the floor. More cabinet space for food would be awesome. My second suggestion is a broom and dustpan for daily clean ups. Overall, we had a great trip!

Perfect house for your Santa’s Village trip

6 adults, 3 kids (5, 2, 2) - 2 nights up to visit story land and Santa’s village. The home isn’t fancy but it’s perfect for what you need - a place to rest after a long day in the park. Bedding was super comfy. Everyone had their own room - plenty of space to lounge around. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Plenty of full bathrooms. We used the fire pit both nights and I was in love with the view from the deck. That was the best. Host was also friendly and responsive, answering all the little questions I had. My very minor one note or consideration for future guests - if you have little ones like we did a baby gate would help to block off the stairs to the basement. They’re a bit precarious. Overall great trip. We’d stay here again for our next trip to SV!

Stunning Property

Our group of 12 adult male golfers enjoyed the accommodations. There were enough beds that no one had to share or sleep on a couch or blow up mattress. Bathroom spaced out properly. Kitchen and living areas well kept with all the needed amenities. Views stunning from inside the house, on the deck or on the back lawn around the fire pit. Parking easy and plentiful for 6 vehicles. On site trash disposal. Owner Jill very engaged and informative, and there is not a long list of "rules", even a welcome bottle of wine. All the special touches which after years of renting houses for a large group are not always met. We didn't cook inside the house but it was well stocked to do so. Recommend eating and playing golf at the Waumbek Golf course, a first class venue. Only caution would be to arrive during daylight can be difficult to find the correct long driveway at night for a house tucked in the woods. GPS has a hard time picking it up but that is part of its charm!

My father built this home a decade ago as a place where his family could all be together under one roof. We are so happy to share it with you & we know he would be as well. We ask you to treat our home as you would wish yours to be treated. We have had wonderful success renting it but along the way have learned a few things - the main one being if you are looking for a home where you can leave at checkout without picking up and leaving it in good shape then we ask you to not book this home.
We live on a private road where the speed limit is 5 mph and outdoor noise must be under control. Our home is perfect for 2 small families looking to enjoy Santa’s village, go hiking or ski for the weekend.

We ask for the following before check-out -

1. Strip all beds and place linens and towels in the laundry room.
2. Put any dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
3. Do not leave any trash out on counter etc & place all trash bags in the dumpster outside.
4. Clean out the fridge & any food you brought with you.

We know accidents happen, please just be forthcoming and let me know if anything is stained, lost or broken while you are staying.

Also, as stated in description no parties and pets are allowed.

If these house rules are not followed there will be an additional cleaning fee applied at the owner and house managers discretion.
