Welcome to Dacha in the Woods! This log cabin is located in Carroll, NH. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a living area, workspace loft, full kitchen, and laundry; everything you may need for your vacation. Our log home has a fantastic outdoor space with a wrap-around deck, screened-in porch, and fire pit. This is a great fit for an outdoor enthusiast, a family with kids, and everyone in-between!
Our cabin is perfectly nestled in the White Mountains. It is 7 miles from the Bretton Woods Ski Resort and the Mount Washington Hotel; 10 miles to Cannon Mountain and Franconia Notch; 23 miles to Loon Mountain and Lincoln, NH. It has easy access to any of the 4,000-footer mountains. Other close attractions include, but are not limited to, the Flume Gorge, the Basin, Echo Lake, Santa’s Village, Whale Tale Water Park, and so many more.
Looking to discover the small towns of New Hampshire? Bethlehem (7 miles), Littleton (12 miles), and Franconia (12 miles) have some amazing shops, places to eat, and breweries to explore! Enjoy your stay!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful, cozy cabin! It had everything we needed, including games and toys for the kids. Our daughters loved the bunk beds, and we all had so much fun! The location is great..just a quick drive to Santa’s Village! Our host was also very welcoming, offering great local recommendations, including Polly’s Pancake Parlor. Truly a fantastic stay, and we hope to be back soon!

We had an amazing time staying at this vacation home! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were very cozy.The location was perfect – quiet and scenic, yet close enough to attractions. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

This house was perfect for two families spending a weekend away together. The drive to Santa’s Village was easy and convenient and about 30 minutes from Loon where we did the gondola ride and explored the glacial caves. The house itself was well equipped with everything from kitchen utensils and cookware, games and outdoor activities, and bathroom necessities. I would absolutely recommend this property and would love to stay here again.

This cabin was in a quiet neighborhood and wonderful for walks and near the Ammonoosuc Forrest Trail. We had some cold mornings, but were cozy inside. Although we did have to contact the host to get a pin # so we could increase the heat, she was responsive and allowed us to make the cabin more comfortable.

This is a beautiful house and property! We got to see shooting stars both nights we stayed while watching the sky. We wanted to have a fire but no fire wood was left on the pallet. Towels were provided but only 2 wash cloths could be found in house. Cleaning left a bit to be desired such as dirty patio windows and crumbs on floor. The dishwasher was also full of dishes that had standing water so I rearranged and rewashed those before running our own. The towels had an off smell so I washed them but I think the washer needs to be cleaned as well. Ping pong table in basement was fun but looked like it was about to collapse. Showers were clean and water was warm enough for everyone to get a shower . Beds were comfortable and plenty of options for sleeping arrangements. Great home and wonderful stay and location, we stayed to visit Santa’s Village. The only downside for me was the housekeeping but I would still recommend as it was just a handful of easy fixes.

Beautiful home!

We loved our stay here- a weekend away as a family and this home did not disappoint. Clean home with ample sleeping space. We will be recommending to our friends. One small glitch in the post about the home that there was air conditioning. There was in fact no AC when we arrived. Luckily it didn’t get uncomfortably warm and the owners said it’s being fixed after we inquired.

Cozy and perfect

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away at this cozy, comfortable, clean, quiet, and well maintained cabin in the woods. The kitchen had everything we needed. Comfortable living room to sit and chat. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. The perfect, no worries, get away. Would definitely stay there again!

Fabulous February vacation

We all loved everything about our stay at this cabin in the woods! The hosts were so kind and responsive and had tons of great suggestions for activities to do locally. We were skiing at Bretton Woods and this location was super convenient to the ski resort. We also went tubing at Great Glen trails and had ice cream at Super Secret ice cream. In spite of the cold and wind, everyone had an amazing time. Thank you for letting us stay in your amazing cabin!

Great location and property!

The house is in great shape and had plenty of room for our family of four. There was an entire loft area that could have accommodated more people! The location was perfect as we were 10 minutes or less from skiing as well as great restaurants. We’ve stayed here previously and will definitely be back!

Easy Access from Portland and Boston!!

Cleanest property I've ever stayed at! Fully-stocked kitchen -- even a crock pot! Heated floors! Easy to drive to small towns, restaurants, hikes! Wonderful trail right in neighborhood for snowshoeing or just a scenic walk! Loved every part of our cabin experience!

Property was very comfortable, and we loved it. It was a nice touch to have a Christmas tree at this time of year. I would recommend this to anyone and would consider staying here again

Great location for hiking

We enjoyed the property. Comfortably furnished, nice deck with furnitures and grill, and fire pit were all pluses. Loved the quiet neighborhood.

Fantastic Mountain Cabin

The cabin was cozy, comfy and had everything you needed. We enjoyed the outdoors on the deck and at night with a fire in the fire pit. Bonus surprise was the ping pong table! Highly recommended.
