One-of-a-kind home

This one-of-a-kind home is dearly loved and well cared for. The photos can only reflect a glimpse of the time, effort and craftsmanship put into the artistic finishes of this unique home.The private backyard is very peaceful, and we enjoyed ending each day sitting on the patio. The house is very clean and well-supplied. It is situated in a nice neighborhood, close to so many things.Josh is an excellent host and responded quickly, checking in with us when we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed.We highly recommend this home and look forward to staying here again.

This is the most beautiful property that we have ever experienced. From the moment we walked in the door, we were enchanted with the house. The artistic creativity is somewhat magical. It was absolutely spotless and backyard was perfect for our two fur babies. The house is fully equipped with everything you would ever need. The booking process and communication was easy. And I just have to add, Josh, our host, is a treasure. We can't wait to stay there again. We highly recommend this house.

Fascinating house

This house had everything that’s important to us; a quiet and safe neighborhood, enjoyable indoor and outdoor spaces, great proximity to attractions and to downtown and very comfortable beds! The unique artistry of the decorations and tile work were a fascinating plus and the house had every amenity we could ask for - we’ll be a return guest very soon!!

One of a kind beauty

We went to Reno for Thanksgiving week and stayed and the Reno Riviera Retreat. We chose this property after seeing the pictures online. It was even more amazing in person. The artistic touches and decorations throughout the house make this a unique experience. From the beautiful wood floors in patterns of different woods, to ceilings with mosaic times or stamped tin, the entire thing is an artistic experience. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked for any occasion, even a Thanksgiving feast. Josh, the host was wonderful. He communicated very well and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this one of kind getaway.

Beautiful property. As I was with my older mother and aunt maybe could have detailed there are stairs in the property but no biggie. Beds we comfy and showers were awesome. Kinda felt like we were staying in a piece of art. Very good experience. Thank you.

Great location and comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay at Reno Riviera. The location is near Idlewild Park and some nice walking trails along the Truckee River. Everything was comfortable and convenient, as expected. The fenced in back yard was also great for our small dog.

Unique and amazing

This is an amazing property! So clean! The home feels so welcoming. The interior is beautiful. Art work built within the home. Everyday I discovered something new in the decor. Location is spot on. We were able to walk a block and take advantage of the walking paths along the trucke river. Park with pond and playground near by. This is absolutely one of my favorite VRBOs. Josh is a wonderful host. Very responsive and helpful when inquiring about activities in the area. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. This is truly a unique place. I was so sad to leave it.

Wonderful location when visiting family

We had a great time and enjoyed the back yard. We were able to invite our local family. The location to the Truckee River and the park was fabulous too. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stock. Laundry facilities exceptional. Very easy check in. Everything was quite clean

A home away from home!

We stayed Riviera Reno while we were town for our niece’s graduation from nursing school. Everything about the home was perfect! The set up was great to have the extended family over for meals and there was everything we needed in the kitchen. We loved the backyard, the beds were super comfortable, and there were a lot of lovely touches in every room. We also loved the unique decor — so fun! You can tell this home was built with care!

Cozy house in a great location

We came to Reno to visit family and celebrate a big birthday! We've stayed in this house before and chose to stay again because it it so comfortable and well-appointed. The owner has thought of everything that one might need to make the stay comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the neighborhood is cute and close to downtown. It's a great house and we would definitely stay there again!

The best ever

This is an amazing property and Josh is the best host ever. I was recently widowed and in the process of selling my house, I needed a retreat. The moment I walked in the door, I smiled and felt at home. I loved every minute in this truly unique house. Perfect for couples or single folks. The house is amazing like being in an art gallery - nicely done and colorful. Quiet location but close to downtown, clean comfortable beds and the owner was very responsive and thoughtful. Loved walking the dogs down to the river each morning.

pretty cool home

artistic, funky, whimsical, and fun! great house in a really nice location. clearly the builder was extremely artistic and non-conventional, every room was a fun discovery of materials and craftsmanship. we use the home as a base for daily travels so we didn't use the home's flair to its potential but would have been enjoyable to have a glass of wine out on the back patio. would definitely rent again.
