Cozy Guest Cabin-Pet Friendly-Secluded-Peaceful
The Guest Cabin, at Mountain Breeze Cabins was designed and hand crafted by your host to be a place for friends and visitors. As you enter the cabin you see that it is full of yellow pine tongue and groove paneling, oak floors, tile bathroom and kitchen and a stone heart with a free standing propane stove. This Pet Friendly Cabin is cozy and has the feel of a well worn leather chair. The covered front deck, overlooking the forest, is private, peaceful and has a gate that allows your pets to roam freely and for you to enjoy the surroundings and the quiet that comes with the remoteness. There are rocking chairs and a propane grill on the front deck. The kitchen area is well equipped for the preparation of meals. Various condiments such as cooking oils, salt and pepper, coffees and teas, sugar and honey and creamers are provided. While our guests enjoy the seclusion and peace of the cabin there are plenty of activities off the property. It is only a short distance to hiking trails, Lake Lure Beach and Marina, Historic Lake Lure Inn, Chimney Rock State Park, restaurants, Lake Lure Tour Boats, local breweries and wineries, horseback riding, tennis courts, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, Chimney Rock Village and fly fishing on the Rocky Broad River! There are also two championship golf courses in the Lake Lure area. Asheville is 25 miles, Black Mountain 17 miles, Hendersonville 15 miles and the Tryon International Equestrian Resort 25 miles. The Blue Ridge Parkway and all that it has to offer is also within 25 miles.
Mountain Breeze Cabins consist of 2 rental cabins on a 17 acre site. All positioned for privacy and the enjoyment of the environment of the mountain top community. The cabins are available for group functions.

We had a great time staying here with our two dogs. A cute little cabin that had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the private deck and soaking up the sounds of nature. A peaceful place to spend our time.
Very clean and well maintained cozy cabin! I would emphasize the road up to the cabin is quite steep with alot of twists turns, but the views are worth the drive!
Wonderful little cabin..so cozy and welcoming. The whole experience was great …Tami, Ryan and Tony we extremely helpful with any questions …many thanks to all !!
Lovely cabin, when sitting on the porch it felt like we were in a tree house. We had the best time. Very pet friendly. Would 100% recommend.

It was a wonderful cabin in the woods. Super quaint and super clean. We'd definitely recommend and we will return. The only thing that was a small problem was, it is pet friendly BIT there is really nowhere much to walk your dog (at least where we were).
This little cabin was exactly what Zoee and I were looking for. The area and ease of access is very convenient, and Tony was quick to respond to questions. Would love to stay again!
Perfect! Very comfy, just what were looking for. Host very accommodating. Very clean, everything we needed. Perfect temperature for mid July coming from NC beach area. Very dog friendly. Our 2 elderly Bostons were right at home on that back porch.
My fiancé and I are from Charlotte and needed somewhere to stay for a few days while we were waiting on our house to be completed. It was a perfect little set up even though we were both working and we really enjoyed grilling out and relaxing on the deck after long work days. We got to check out one trail while we were there and will have to come back to try out the rest!
First time staying in some real mountains and could not have been more impressed. Instructions leading to the property were perfect, the drive up to the cabin was incredible. Town around chimney rock and lake lure was perfect for a weekend getaway. Cabin itself was truly a work of art, fine craftsmanship from the floor boards to the ceiling, along with great facilities to clean off after hiking and to make a great meal to recover. Loved every moment of the stay and not a thing I would change. Thank you for an amazing get away!
Well kept cabin with a great little porch and grill. Directions to the cabin were helpful. The groundskeeper/maintenance also has a cabin nearby which is handy if you need anything. The main house is close to the guest house so if you're looking for a more secluded cabin it may not be the one for you but I saw that in previous reviews and it still worked great for me as a solo traveler. Would recommend!

LInda was an excellent guest! Communication was seamless throughout the entire process and she left my cabin in wonderful shape. I would be happy to host her again!
I LOVE this little cabin. It was perfect for a peaceful, mountain getaway. It was very clean and comfy. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking which I did not do. The cabin is perfectly situated close enough to other cabins to feel safe but far enough away to feel secluded. The caretaker was so friendly. I will be back! The view and the porch are amazing!
Celebrated my Birthday here and we love everything about the cabin. They have everything that you need, all you have to do bring your clothes and some groceries. It is spacious for 2 people and one dog. However, it is too close to the main cabin. So your peacefulness depends on who rents it the same time as you.
Absolutely lovely cabin. The owners/property managers are so responsive and kind. We forgot an item when we checked out and they mailed it back to us!
This is a hidden oasis with a great kitchen, back porch, and grill. Our dog, Pie, had such a great time exploring. The road to the cabins is private, so we felt safe letting her go off leash with us.
It’s a lovely day drive up and down the mountain, but drive slowly at night since the road is windy and very dark. We’ll definitely be coming back — with friends next time!
What a cute cabin! The location is very secluded. It's a minimum drive of about 20 minutes to get to any shopping or restaurants. The roads getting up to the cabin are very windy but if we can do it in our small, 4-cylindar sedan, anyone can lol. But the cabin itself was adorable and perfect for me, my husband and our dog! I loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the forest. For anyone who's not afraid of some mountain roads and doesn't mind being a bit further out from the touristy stuff, this is an excellent choice!
I had a wonderful stay at the Guest House. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. The host was super helpful and responsive when I had questions.
One review mentioned that it was noisy. That must have been a one off situation, because my stay was extremely quiet and serene.
The road is very windy and you'll climb over 1700 feet going up from the bottom to the cabin. I was fine in my 4 cylinder SUV in the summer and it didn't bother me, but something to be aware of.
The cabin is cute, clean and cozy. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. It is quite the journey up the winding hill to get there!! Fortunately the host gave detailed directions as GPS did not go that far.
The site description says there is a microwave in the kitchen, but if there was one, we never saw it and it is a tiny room. It would have been nice to have as we were there 5 days.
Also it gets very dark inside due to the beautiful surrounding of trees so a bathroom night light might be helpful.
The last night we were there, the folks staying at the main cabin across from us were outside talking until after midnight. I assume they were not aware of how your voice can carry in that setting. Made it a little difficult to get some sleep.
Overall, highly recommend for a beautiful place to stay and easy access to a lot of activities.
The cabin is very cute, very clean, great location, the bathroom needs more lighting for the ladies to get ready and do hair and make up, lighting in the bathroom is very poor, you also need a full body mirror somewhere around the cabin, kitchen is spotless and fully equipped. Now the noise was terrible and non stop from 7am to 8pm I felt like if I was in the middle of NYC there was construction going on a few feet away from the cabin and that made my stay not so cool, I wanted to make a video of the outside and I couldn’t the noise never stop while I was there for 2 days, if the owner knows there’s gonna be construction please don’t rent out the property during those days, it’s not nice to wake up in the middle of the mountains with the sound of someone drilling a whole on the ground.

As Jose notes, the cabin, its amenities and location are as described, cute and very clean in a lovey setting. However the bathroom does have adequate lighting and has two rows of track lights and if you miss one of the switches you may not get the full effect, which we believe is the case. Unfortunately, there is not really a great place for a full length mirror and so there is none.
He is also correct, and with our apologies, that there was construction going on at a neighboring house and it was loud and regrettably we were not able to shut it down. Sound travels and can be amplified in the mountains. While the work that was going on was at some distance away it could surely sound like it was right next door. It did not go on as late as reported, but that is beside the point. Fortunately it only lasted a few days, unfortunately it was during his stay.
To give the cabin a 1 star rating was extreme on his part and not a fair representation of the quality service, the accommodation and the hospitality that the on site caretakers or I strive to provide.
We would be happy to provide Jose and his guest a free stay to help remedy this situtation and for him to have a 5 star stay.
