5 Stars - Every Detail Considered

This Ranch absolutely ranked in the top 3 vacation rentals I've ever experienced. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking views of the countryside. We got a full tour of the property including the ducks, horses, goats and birds while also being given permission to explore the entire premises. The accommodations were cozy and the attention to detail was impeccable as well. It was clean, elegant and had little suprises I'll let you all find on your own 😊And a special thanks to our host Denise! She made us feel completely welcomed, offered to drive us to our event, encouraged us to reach out if we needed anything and she even sent me my favorite earrings that I left behind. Book this stay if you're anywhere in the area or just looking for a local stay-cation. You will not be disappointed! (We're already looking for reasons to go back and visit again 🤪) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed over night to attend a concert at the Toyota Amphitheatre.

The property is AMAZING. The accommodations are as described, and Denise went above, and beyond to make sure that our stay was enjoyable, and that we were able to enjoy the amenities and beauty of the ranch. The property was a relatively short drive to the Toyota Amphitheatre, where we attended a concert, and this was much MUCH better than staying in a hotel. Next time we are in Lincoln for a concert, we will be staying with Denise!

Nature is my happy place and the now the Sierra Foothills are my home. I love hiking, kayaking, horses (most animals actually), music, good books, good food and good friends.

I'm a semi-retired RN who just can't get enough of looking after others' well being and that's why creating a deeply relaxing space for others brings me joy.

Why they chose this property

This detached guesthouse is off the courtyard of the home where I live with my husband of 30+ years. Your guesthouse has three doors to the outside, bringing privacy and comfort while also offering security and convenience/assistance when needed. The property sits on 50 acres with two ponds and a year-round creek that feeds the Bear River. We keep lots of animals including ponies, cows, chickens, ducks, dogs and homing pigeons. We are also home to a lot of wildlife. You are likely to see deer, turkeys, coyotes, racoons and more when you stay with us. Our three friendly ranch dogs keep watch to ensure the local wildlife remain respectful.

What makes this property unique

Take time for yourself to relax and regroup - - and perhaps bring a special someone with you. The guesthouse has games, musical instruments and lots of good books. It's like going on a private retreat.
