Attentive hosts - Convenient location

My husband and I spent 10 weeks at Talavera while looking for a home in Salem. It was a fantastic home base with all the amenities we needed. Walking distance to historic downtown and Safeway and cute neighborhoods for evening strolls (watch out for bunnies!) The established neighbors in the building were lovely and the host of the property was always accessible and took care of any concerns quickly. We are so grateful we were able to stay and take our time finding a home in the area. Thanks T & E!

Great stay for temporary work close to downtown

Talavera was a great studio stay for a short term work assignment. The apartment had everything you needed (nutrabullet, coffee, spice rack, etc.), a comfortable bed, and is a well designed space that makes coming home enjoyable. It is on the first floor, and keypad locked on front door and building front door. There is an AC unit to keep the space cool in summer. Provided shower amenities was also appreciated. The landlord was extremely easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any requests. The only drawback is parking. As there are 8 other apartments occupied at anytime, it was very difficult to get a parking space near the building, let alone in the back lot. It’s very close to downtown, which can have some questionable people walking through. For a short term stay, it worked well for my needs.
