Fabulous penthouse with a view / left bank Saint Germain des Prés/ air con

Located close to the Jardin du Luxembourg, next to Saint Germain des Prés, in a typically 19th century stylish parisian building, our duplex penthouse, situated on the 7th and 8th floor, with elevator, is about 125 m2. Fabulous romantic view.

Loft style. Housing 4 guests.

The first level includes:
a wide and open space double living with a huge flat screen TV, a dining table for 6, a fully equipped open kitchen with a counter bar, and a small terrace;
a master double bedroom with its own en- suite bathroom (bath + shower) ;
an independant WC, and a dressing room which is also a small office.

Up the stairs, the second level includes: a double room with a bathroom including bath and WC.

This flat overviews all main monuments: the Eiffel Tower, Sacré Coeur (Montmartre), the Invalides, and all the roofs of Paris. An amazing view from our windows.

Our neighborhood:
In the heart of the glamorous 6th arrondissement.
Everything within walking distance: hype shopping, foodstores , galleries, museums, cinemas, live theaters, animated cafés and restaurants leading your way up to the Seine.
Easy access to 3 different subway lines stations, and several bus lines, at the foot of the house.
The lovely and spacious Jardin du Luxembourg stands two blocks away for jogging, having a coffee, walking around, with playground for children and tennis courts. The ultimate 'Le Bon Marché' department store is five minutes walking. Aside , 'La Grande Epicerie' offers the best selection of fresh food and grocery.
The famous Raspail organic open-air market stands round the corner every Sunday morning, as well as a general open air foodmarket held twice a week.

Spectacular apartment!!

We feel so lucky to have spent our time in Paris in this perfect and spacious apartment. It had everything we needed for our family and Bernadette was a wonderful host. Our family was so comfortable there and we cannot wait to return! The views were breathtaking and the location was ideal-- everything was within walking distance from groceries and restaurants to shopping and workout studios. There is a delightful open air market right down the street which adds to the appeal of this apartment. Thank you Bernadette for making our time in Paris so easy and enjoyable!

Perfect Apartment

We had a wonderful vacation at this Paris apartment. The location was perfect, centrally located to everything. The views were spectacular! Bernadette was a lovely host, who was in constant contact, ready and willing to answer any questions and make recommendations. We hope to visit again someday!

À louer sans hésiter !

Je n'ai que de bons mots quant à cet appartement. D'abord, il est idéalement situé, à deux minutes de marche de la station de métro St-Placide, à proximité des cafés, brasseries, traiteurs et boutiques. Le quartier est animé, mais l'appartement, situé au 7ème étage, invite au calme et à la détente. D'ailleurs, l'appartement est charmant, confortable et très bien équipé. Nous y avons été très bien accueillis. Les propriétaires démontrent manifestement un réel désir que le confort de leurs hôtes soit comblé: accueil chaleureux et sans chichi, bouteilles de champagne et de vin au réfrigérateur, produits alimentaires de base, café, pain et lait (très apprécié lors d'une arrivée tardive !) et produits d'hygiène étaient à notre disposition. Les chambres sont confortables et la literie, de qualité supérieure. J'espère bien retourner à Paris au cours de la prochaine année; si tel était le cas, le 92 boulevard Raspail sera assurément ma destination ! Sophie

Perfect vacation apartment!

We had the most wonderful vacation over Christmas and New Year's at this perfect Paris apartment. Bernadette is a wonderful host, providing helpful recommendations and guidance about the neighborhood restaurants and shopping and she went above and beyond to help us. We were concerned about getting a reservation for the evening of December 25th and Bernadette went ahead and made a reservation for us at a wonderful restaurant. When we arrived, there was a Christmas tree with lovely gifts underneath it for our family. The apartment has spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur. We loved the location and we were able to walk all over the city from the apartment. It was perfectly equipped for our family of four. I would recommend this apartment to others and would love to stay there again.

Perfect Paris Apartment

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers) just returned from an amazing week in in this wonderful Paris apartment. The views were gorgeous, the apartment perfectly equipped with anything a family might need (including a fabulous espresso maker!). The location is lovely and close to everything. We walked all over Paris from our home base. Bernadette and her son were so helpful to us during the entire rental process and when we arrived. We could not have asked for more gracious hosts. Her shopping and restaurant recommendations were perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to others and we sincerely hope to stay here again.

Perfect Paris Apartment

This was our second year at this lovely apartment in the heart of Paris. The location is incredible and the owners are wonderful. The apartment is very comfortable...it's close to the Metro and all the sites in Paris. There's a farmers market on the street several times a week. Resturants of every kind...the owners give great recommendations! We were here for 3 weeks and it feels like our home in Paris. if you can get it...take them up. You won't be disappointed.

One of our favourite holidays!

I concur with all the previous reviews. Our family consists of 2 adults, and 20, 18, and 15 year old children. We love to travel on school holidays over the Christmas break and did a lot of research on Parisian neighbourhoods. This apartment was perfect in many, many ways. The location was quiet from a street perspective, but so incredibly close to everything. We bought warm croissants and pastries every morning, took the easily accessible bus and subway almost every day, and generally basked in the enjoyment of Christmas in Paris. Everything was open every day and we completely loved it. The apartment was perfect--as well we highly enjoyed the Nespresso machine! Although we loved it...I have to be honest that the beds were a little small for adult sized children. No one complained, but it was a little tight sleeping. We did know beforehand, however, that this would be the case but happily accepted it. The apartment itself was perfectly equipped, and we were in need of nothing. The views were gorgeous, the DVD selection amazing, Bernadette's restaurant and shopping recommendations were wonderful. She even made a reservation for us before we arrived for my son's 18th birthday and we were absolutely thrilled when the waiters all came out and brought him a cake and sang Happy Birthday en francais!! We still laugh about it and were touched by her thoughtfullness. I would not hesistate to recommend this apartment and sincerely hope to return to it again in the future.

Perfect location in Paris!

My husand, our two children (ages 12 and 13), and I stayed in this wonderful apartment for three weeks in July. The location was excellent! Close to shopping in every direction, organic farmers market 2 blocks away, and the metro was steps from the front door. The apartment itself was very charming, comfortable and equipped with everything you'd need and more. Our children especially enjoyed the 100's of DVD's to choose from, and kept them entertained after a long day of sight-seeing. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us advice on things to do, restaurants, and shopping, etc. We can't wait to return to Paris next summer and stay at this same apartment!

PERFECT PARIS GETAWAY

My husband and I fell in love with this wonderful apartment! The views were spectacular---and from every room. You will not find a better location---walking distance to some of Paris' most beautiful areas and easy access to the metro. The owner and her son met us and spent a great deal of time showing us around and providing us with valuable information. They were charming and delightful. We especially enjoyed the warm, homey atmosphere of the apartment.

Delightful Stay during the Christmas Holiday Week

Our family of two parents and three young adult daughters loved the Icovic's apartment. Our gracious hosts met us in their apartment and left us delightful goodies. My husband and daughters liked the espresso maker. We loved seeing the Eiffel Tower from the apartment windows, especially when lighted at night. The apartment is quiet, close to subway stops, Luxembourg Park and to fabulous Parisian shops. We appreciated recommendations for restaurants and shopping given to us by the owner.

GREAT TIME IN ST GERMAIN DES PRES

Thank you so much for this incredible stay in Paris : we loved feeling at home in such a lovely house, our daughters enjoyed shopping around , no bus needed, very safe area . Our little one just couldn't leave the Luxembourg gardens and the poneys. My husband and I had great pleasure to stroll around museums, cafés and galleries, and even the open air market was a treat. Amenities were perfect, including the Nespresso machine! We miss the sparkling Eiffel Tower every evening. We are a family of five: Hervé and Bernadette work in the cinema industry; Aurélien and Alexander, twins of 35, have now left the house and work in the Cinema business as us. Antonin, 25 years old, left home after having studiing abroad! Of course we love cinema, theater and cultural activities. We have a huge flat screen TV with a library of over 400 DVD. We usually travel during school holidays, that's how our penthouse, which is our mainhome around the year, is available two or three times a year.

We love this neighborhood of the Left Bank of Paris, full of history and so easy to live in, shop around, get to a restaurant: safe and beautiful, all within walking distance, in the very heart of swinging Paris and so close to a park such as the Luxembourg.

Our view over Paris is outstanding: from Eiffel Tower to Montmartre and the Invalids, we overview great monuments over the roofs.
Our home looks like a house in Paris, with its 2 levels.
We feel so comfortable. This house has its own soul, plenty of charm.
