Great spot in the Marais

My husband and I stayed here for a week and we had the greatest time! The studio is smallish but there’s a kitchen and living area with a separate bedroom area and the bathroom. The space is well laid out and we were quite comfortable there. It’s not fancy, but it serves the need for reasonable accommodations in a hip neighborhood. Every night we stepped out our door there was a party going on with lively streets and hopping restaurants, bars and clubs. And yet you hear nothing from inside the apartment- it’s fantastic! Be aware, if you have any mobility issues this may not be the right spot for you as there are lots of narrow (and some uneven) stairs to navigate. Oh, and the host, Thierry, is the BEST communicator. He just wants you to have a great experience!

Absolute perfection

A truly enjoyable stay in Le Marais at this property! The location is perfection and the flat was superbly suited for the two of us. Communication between us and the host was smooth and seamless and we felt totally supported. The apartment had everything we needed for our week-long stay. Wonderful, just as described!!

The small apartment is located right in the middle of Le Marais - everybody’s favorite location in Paris- but it is very quiet and somehow secluded as it overlooks an inside courtyard. Thierry was the most graceful host, and I’m pretty sure I will come back and stay at his apartment again!!

Property was in the middle of everything. Great neighborhoods surrounding the apartment. Easy access to the metro. Felt very safe with the apartment being in the center of building. Highly recommend based on area, it was perfect.

This apartment is *perfectly* located in Paris. Being in the center of it all with shops, attractions, and vibes right out the front door made our trip better than we could've hoped for! The early checkin was a huge bonus since we landed with heavy suitcases after a redeye flight. From the airport right to the apartment to drop off our things and freshen up before heading into the city made our trip that much more comfortable. The apartment has old Paris charm. We really enjoyed the balcony for taking in some fresh air with our coffee in the morning. Thierry was super responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our trip which we really appreciated.

Quiet apartment in excellent location near the action

My husband and I made this place our home for 2 weeks while attending the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. It did not disappoint. The A/C was heaven to have in the late July and August heat. The apartment is located in the heart of La Marias, steps from the Seine and metro lines with plenty of cafes and bars right outside your door. Even though you are close to the action, the apartment is on the inside of the building which made it quiet for sleeping. The wifi worked great and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Thierry our host provided plenty of towels and great directions for finding and getting into the apartment. There was also a washer/dryer combo unit which came in handy since we were there for a longer stay and after getting drenched by thunderstorms at some of the events. Thierry was super responsive to any questions we had via WhatsApp. Definitely will recommend this place to friends and family and will stay again when we come back. Thanks Thierry!

Gem in the Marais

Everything is at your doorstep. Grocery, Bars, Restaurants, Shopping, and Metro all in a beautiful and lively setting. The area is so safe we stayed out late several nights and did not ever feel unsafe. Neighbors I the building were also friendly. Thierry was a great communicator, check-in was a breeze and the place was just as pictured. It was clean and spacious. There was plenty of storage - a nice-sized closet and we slid our luggage under the bed. I would definitely stay here again it was so easy to get everywhere and also so much to do in the neighborhood if you don't want to leave. Everything you need to cook is available if you so choose You should book this place if you want a lovely apartment in the heart of it all!

Charming! Great location!

We spent a week in beautiful Paris and I cannot say enough about this perfectly located apartment in the Le Marais neighborhood. The grocery across the street was very convenient and steps away were amazing bakeries and cafes. In addition, the metro and cabs were close by. Thierry was extremely easy to reach and was available for all of our questions pre-arrival. Don’t hesitate with booking, we found it far more “homey” than a hotel.

Lovely Le Marais Studio

Partner and I spent a week at this studio. The check-in was smooth, and the place was so so clean. The studio is located off-street in a courtyard, which made for a very quiet, comfortable stay. Also - what a great location!! Across the street from a bodega, and within a 5 minute walk from any kind of cafe/restaurant/shop you can imagine. Would highly recommend!

Cute apartment in bustling Marais

I stayed for two weeks and loved it. Thierry is an attentive host who gives clear instructions for the property. The decoration is stylish and homey. It would have been nice to have a sharp knife and cutting board in the kitchen, but if you mostly plan to eat out, this is not a big deal.

Great location

The apartment is ideally located in the center of the city. Minutes by foot to the Metro and all center city venues. Many restaurants within one minute walk of the apt. Host is a great guy, responsive and helpful.

Wonderful Stay in Le Marais

We just returned from 8 days in Thierry's wonderful apartment. The location can't be beat. A few steps away is a small grocery, tons of restaurants, and the Metro. It was always lively when we returned in the evenings we were amazed at how quiet it was back upstairs. Yes there were 2 flights up but we had no issues with that at all. The bed was so comfortable and the shower had great pressure and nice heat. 2 things we always appreciate when staying away from home. Thierry's communication was excellent. We happened to arrive early and he was gracias enough to walk us through everything even when he was finishing up getting the place ready. He communicated mid week and check to make sure we had everything we needed. The unit is small but worked well for us. Kitchen had everything we needed for morning coffees, cheese and fruit afternoon snacks. The washing machine came in handy but didn't work great for drying. But no worries, there was a drying rack that we would hang clothes on and it worked just fine. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Paris.

Perfect location in the Marais!

We had a wonderful 1 week stay at the apartment and very much enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and safe apartment with cold AC and lots of hot water and pressure for showers. A convenient grocery store right across the street, a boulangerie a few steps away, and a lively square close by. Many wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. Very good communications with Thierry, the owner. Highly recommend!

Perfect location - and more!

My sister and I stayed at Thiery’s flat for 10 days on our first trip to Paris. The pictures, and his description, captured it perfectly. Everything was clean, and all provisions were supplied (I.e. coffee, dish soap, paper towels, etc). One thing, especially if you’re from the U.S., is no wash clothes. This must be a European thing, though, since it’s happened in other countries too. We had plenty of space, and did also utilize the outside patio quite often, even though the view is just the back of another building. The flat was very private and quiet. Thierry was VERY responsive to questions and requests. In addition to meeting us at the flat on the first day to explain things, he even answered unrelated questions via What’s App. (Like where can I mail a postcard?) Best of all HAS to be the flat’s location; just a couple of blocks off Rivoli ( a major street) and one block from a courtyard with at least 8 restaurants around it…not to mention a grocery store and bar right across the street! Seriously THE BEST! Oh, and as others have mentioned, the Metro is just a short walk away too! Thiery, your place really is a gem! So glad I found it on VRBO!

Awesome apartment!

Loved the location, 3 minutes to the metro, shops and restaurants right out the door. The host was wonderful!! Any needs or questions and he was right there to answer. I will definitely stay here again!
