THE LOCATION: Welcome to the top of the mountain and the top of Southwind! The townhome is located in the gated Southwind community. For skiers and snowboarders, access trails lead from the townhome directly into 7Springs. When you return, the front door is only steps from the top of Southwind lift. Both the North Face and Polar Bear Express lifts are also a quick walk down Lakeside Trail. Please refer to the 7Springs website for current trail and lift status. This 4 season destination also has access to more than just the slopes. During the warmer months, sporting clays, hiking, mountain biking, and other activities are all easily accessed from the community. During the summer, walk across the street and rent a paddle boat for a cruise on Lake Tahoe. You can also enjoy the mountain views from the community pool and hot tub located at the rec center. It’s a short walk just past the lift on Lakeside Trail.

THE RESORT: The 7Springs main lodge at the bottom of the mountain is a quick drive, ski, or a shuttle trip away. Tubing, swimming, bowling, and dining are all available. Special seasonal events are also held year-round. The resort also provides free shuttle service. Information about the shuttle and activities is available at 800-452-2223.

THE PROPERTY: This cozy retreat features 3 bedrooms with 4 beds that sleep up to 8 guests. 2 master bedrooms include private full bathrooms. Linens and towels are provided for all guests and a washer/dryer are available for use. Bring some competition down to the game room on the first floor, or relax in the hot tub on the back deck. Store skis and gear in the garage and then put your feet up by the fire in the family room. Off street parking is available and for extra cars there are marked parking spots located along the roads around the community.

February Ski Trip

Amazing host, wonderful property and great location. Matt was extremely responsive and helpful with all our questions, the house was very clean and the hot tub was immaculate which is not always the case with rentals. The Southwind lift was closed making logistics a little more cumbersome, but if it was running - it is less than 100 feet to the slope and lift. Will definately come again!

Christmas in the mountains

My husband and I have been traveling to 7 Springs for many years and we are lifelong skiers. This year our daughter and family traveled from Savannah, Georgia to experience a winter wonderland and the mountains did not disappoint. For the grandchildren it was their first experience with snow. From skiing, snow tubing and building their first snowman…they loved it all.

Fall Fun!

Southwinds at 7Springs is a beautiful place to stay in the fall. A short walk to the top of the hill where the ski lift is located was perfect to see the fall leaves. The polar bear express lift took us from the Resort Autumnfest right back to the townhouse. Townhouse was clean and comfortable for our family of 4.

Amazing stay and location!

This home is beautiful, super clean and great proximity to the mountain! We stayed in the off season, but I imagine during ski season it’s the neighborhood to be in! It was a really nice home, super clean and great for families. The views around the neighborhood were beautiful and ideal for walks with the strollers. Would absolutely recommend or stay again - Matt was extremely responsive and kind!

Nice property!

We had a great stay at this property. The multiple rooms and levels made the perfect place for our family getaway. The unit was fully stocked and clean. It felt like home and from home. With close proximity to the pool and lake we were able to walk. I can only imagine how cozy and beautiful the unit it in the winter! We can’t wait to return to the seven springs area for our yearly ski trip.and hope this unit is available when we plan to book! Communication was great with the owners, with a quick return time. There was one small hiccup with the grill and they answer quickly and compensated us for the trouble. Overall, it was a lovely property and we enjoyed it!

Excellent mountain top property

We stayed for a week attending the World Boardgaming Championships, and this was the nicest place we have ever stayed at 7s. For a rental property the inside was in remarkably good condition and was very well stocked with soap, garbage bags, etc.. The hot tub was wonderful. We did have a maintenance issue - the freezer/refrigerator stopped cooling to appropriate temperatures. When we notified the owners about our suspicions, they had a repairman there almost faster than we could make it up the mountain from the resort! Communication with them was excellent. All in all, a wonderful place to stay - already looking forward to going back next year!

Weekend getaway

We had a wonderful visit here with family and friends. Hoping to get in a last ski of the season. While the weather didnt cooperate it was still a blast. The host replied to my every question, literally within minutes. Very clean, friendly neighbors, location is amazing even if the Southwind lift isnt running, you can still easily get to a run. Looking forward to returning next year during the snowy season! Thank you, Matt!

Fantastic Family Retreat with All the Comforts

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cozy Top of the Mountain Retreat within the 7Springs Resort, and it exceeded all our expectations. This townhome provided the perfect backdrop for our multigenerational family vacation, accommodating seven of us with room to spare. The spacious layout of the townhome ensured that everyone had their own comfortable space. The rooms were well-appointed, and the beds provided a restful night's sleep after our days filled with skiing and outdoor activities. The well-stocked kitchen was a highlight, allowing us to prepare hearty meals instead of dining out at the resort. One of our favorite features was the grill, perfect for cooking up delicious steaks and enjoying family dinners on the patio. The hot tub was a hit, especially in the chilly weather, a fantastic way to unwind and relax after a day on the slopes. A special shoutout to the exceptional host who made our stay even more enjoyable. Their responsiveness to our inquiries was remarkable; it often felt like they anticipated our needs before we could even ask. Fantastic Ski In / Ski Out on Top of Mountain

Cannot beat the location or the property for a ski trip to 7 Springs. Access to the property was extremely simple from getting into/around the Southwind community to being able to drop onto the slopes a few steps out of the front door. Kitchen was very well stocked for meals when taking a break from the slopes. Definitely a property worthy of a repeat stay!

A beautiful place! Super close to the chairlift.

We had a wonderful weekend stay. The house was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfy! The hot tub was hot and clean and worked great. Just steps to the chair lift! We hope to stay again next year.
