"By the Bay" Àr en vÀldigt bra anlÀggning och vi kan inte tillÄta nÄgon form av husdjur. Vi erbjuder ett stort vÀrde och en mest unik och terapeutisk, stÀndigt förÀnderlig havsutsikt. Förutom att krascha pÄ klipporna, kommer vÄgorna ofta frÄn tre olika hÄll och explodera tillsammans, höga 50 meter. De lokala charterbÄtarna kommer till vÄr Äsikt för att titta pÄ valarna. Vi har Àven vÄr egen Water Geiser. Ser ut som en Whale spouting. Vi har ocksÄ en havsutsikt under lÄga tidpunkter.

Vi Àr centralt belÀget och inom bekvÀmt gÄngavstÄnd frÄn hela Depoe Bay. VÄra lÀgenheter Àr 60 'över havet och endast 100 yds. frÄn den spektakulÀra steniga stranden. Priset Àr för upp till 4 vuxna. Detta Àr inte ett partihus. Vi har Àldre gÀster som förvÀntar sig en lugn fredlig semester. Vi ligger strax över Hwy 101 frÄn den mycket populÀra "Tidal Raves" Ocean Front restaurang och en stadspark. "Tidal Raves" öppnar klockan 11:00 varje morgon och stÀngs under januari mÄnad varje Är. Vi har "Wing Wa" kinesisk restaurang och lounge bredvid, i norr. Det finns privata hem och den 1/4 mil lÄnga, Giant Sea Wall i söder. Njut av valskÄdning, antingen frÄn ditt fritidshus eller med nÄgon av de mÄnga fina charterbÄtarna som ligger i vÀrldens minsta naturliga, navigerbara hamn. Depoe Bay ligger i ett Ocean Front, djupt vatten, stenigt kustomrÄde.
Titta pÄ den fantastiska, stÀndigt förÀnderliga vÄgor kan vara spÀnnande och ocksÄ mycket terapeutiskt. Det finns miles av sandstrÀnder inom 2 miles, bÄde norr och söder. Priset gÀller för 4 vuxna. $ 20 extra för varje tillagd person per natt. Passar bÀst för vuxna endast .. Rökning & Nej Husdjur. The view was nice. The restaurant next door was open late and with the windows open you could hear the patrons. The beds wew comfortable. The restaurant across the street was a treat. We ended up going 2 times.

Loved one time there

Everything was practically perfect. Enjoyed this day. Enjoy the view. We did have a bit of trouble right at the end with ants in the kitchen and bathroom especially other than that it was a perfect day. Thank you for your hospitality.

Very comfortable house, best bed I've ever slept on in a rental. And the view....AMAZING! it's right in front of Hwy 101 but the house was so insulated you did not hear any road noise. Everything we needed for a quick get getaway!

Amazing View!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property, and even saw whales from the front windows! It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked. It was the perfect place to relax and also as a home base to explore more of the coast. There was a spacious parking area in the back, including a covered carport.

Depoe Bay getaway

We were close to town shops, had nice views of Bay and saw whales, bed and furniture were comfortable, place had binoculars, telescope for whale watching, games, movies, kitchen supplies for cooking, extra blankets, etc. We were provided with brochures, maps, restaurants, parks and places to go nearby. We had a great time and highly recommend it!

Perfect location for everything!

This is an older home that has everything you could want or need exactly where you want it to be! The view is unbeatable and the house was very comfortable. The owners have really thought of everything, no detail is forgotten. It was so nice to be able to cook and enjoy meals while looking out at the gorgeous view.

Great view

Overall a great stay. The view is awesome and the furniture comfortable. We enjoyed watching the plethora of spiders on the front windows and a few inside. Other reviewers were accurate. The owner checked in when he came to water the plants every day. He was very friendly.

Fantastic Getaway

Just what we needed for a 3-friend reunion. This place is so comfortable and homey, well appointed kitchen. And the views!!! Full ocean view on a little inlet. Walk across the street and you're at Tidal Raves restaurant. Plenty of parking. Privacy, quiet, very responsive hosts. Thank you!!!

Another great stay in Depoe Bay

Our unit had everything we needed in terms of appliances, bedding, etc. If there was anything additional we wanted, Walt was handy and could take care of it for us. Great view of the bay and the whales that are there and walking to everywhere in town. Only minor inconvenience was just one bathroom which is downstairs, not for us but our guests who stayed upstairs.

Whales as advertised

I booked this home because a reviewer said they watched whales from the window with the provided telescope. Not only was this totally true the home also had two sets of binoculars. I watched whales every morning, afternoon and evening unless we made other plans. The location allowed us to walk to town and view whales and seals from the sea wall and sun set walks to north point. We didn't use upstairs but the rest of the house was well equipped and decorated all seaside Gramma-core. I want to stay here every year for the rest of my life!!!!

Comfortable

The property is very close to Depoe Bay. Though this property is a little older, it is well maintained and clean. It also has all the amenities (eg - washer and dryer). The beds were comfy and it had WiFi. The view from the top floor was great. It looked directly onto the ocean across the street. There were plenty of local restaurants to choose from. And best of all, in our wanderings to different beaches, we got to see whales from the shore! Now that was exciting!

Perfect Christmas on the Coast

This property was perfect for our family Christmas on the Oregon Coast. The owners had an adorable little Christmas tree in the front window welcoming us. We put our presents under the tree and there was a fireplace that we actually hung our stockings over! The place was big and clean and super user friendly for cooking Christmas Eve dinner and breakfast. Lots of snuggly blankets if we needed them. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was big and clean. The location was great. Beautiful views of the ocean out the front window. Nearby, walking distance to little shops, coastal vistas. There was also covered parking for both our cars. The owner was very available for any questions.

The smell of smoke was nauseating. I can’t believe nobody else has mentioned that. I think it’s coming up through the floor from downstairs. I called the host and left a message and never heard back. The upstairs is not viable since there is no bathroom up there and the stairs are too steep to use in the middle of the night, or first thing in the morning. Handrail doesn’t go all the way to the top and the treads are very narrow. The camera at the (only) door feels awkward. Many furnishings are very old (1980s) and worn out and dirty. With a little effort this place could be nice, but really just for two people. The internet didn’t work and phone service is weak. For the price, we could have stayed at a nice hotel there. View was great, but no whales at all. Bed is very comfortable. Plenty of ants and spiders. I wish I could post pictures. But the smell just permeated everything. There were instructions to leave everything as when we arrived, but I don’t understand why we should have to strip the beds when we pay for cleaning. Many surfaces were dirty and would benefit from just being wiped down.

Comfortable Stay

This condo/house was so comfortable we felt we were at home. We didn't lack for anything during our stay. Usually there are things we think "it would be nice if there was...."That thought never came up once in the week. The sofa and loveseat were cushy, bed downstairs perfect (we didn't use the upstairs bedrooms), bathroom was well lit with a ten bulb light bar!! There were two recliners which was unusual and greatly appreciated. They had binoculars available to use to search the ocean for whales. There was a bbq and Blackstone grill conveniently right outside the door with a bench and chairs so you could eat outside if desired. We also appreciated having a carport for the car. There are windows across the whole front of the unit and with all the mini blinds open the view was beautiful and the space was really bright. A new washer and dryer which we did not use is available. The place is filled with entertainment options such as games, puzzles, dvds. WiFi was ok.There is a one bedroom apartment downstairs for rent on the property too. All in all a great stay.

Right next to Chinese restaurant, motorcycle and car sounds outside bedroom window, pretty late. This is upstairs from what used to be a real estate office on the east side of 101, dated but comfortable. Only one bathroom on main floor, so two attic bedrooms up steep staircase got covered buckets (!!). Kitchen had all we needed to make meals, plenty of board games, tv, all as described. Not exactly what we had imagined, but we had a fun and memorable time.

Beautiful views, we saw so many whales! Location was great! Very clean. Our only complaint was we should have read the listing a little bit better as we were surprised there was no bathroom upstairs, only portable camping type potties. We also thought the stairs were steep so if you had elderly people with you, it could be a hazard. Otherwise a great place to stay with great views.

Vicki & I have lived here on the Central Oregon coast all of our lives. Vicki has three children, 6 Grand Children & 5 Great Grandchildren. I recently retired with 40 years in Real Estate to enjoy our Vacation Rental business.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We fell in love with the unique ocean view from this City center location. The ever-changing wave action on the rocky formation, jutting out into the Ocean creates unique, therapeutic & spectacular, wave action that affords year-round entertainment. We have a US Coast Guard Station, right here in our little fishing village, located right on the deep Ocean. There is very close Whale viewing from anywhere in town.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We enjoy one of the most unique ocean views anywhere on the coast. with the Ocean creating the fascinating natural Sea Sculpture. During the off season storms, the giant waves crashing completely over the large rock structure, causing up to 5 waterfalls cascading down on our side. .And then when the waves regularly come together to create a 50' towering wave, having nothing to do with the visible rock structure.
