Located in the historic Taft District of Lincoln City, this third floor condo sits right on the water facing Siletz Bay with a view of the Pacific Ocean and Schooner Creek. A king, a queen and an American Leather hide-a-bed are offered at this condo, along with a full kitchen with a hot water dispenser, a coffee maker that will do a pot, or a pod per cup, a washer and dryer, a gas fireplace, a 50" Smart TV, and Wi-Fi. You even have the luxury of a 42" TV in the bedroom to enjoy a late night movie! Waters Edge Condominiums has an elevator for ease of access to this third floor unit. Location and view were wonderful - The bay was safe and accessible without being concerned about sneaker waves for our kiddo. Exactly what you want for a short family stay. Short walk to a cute little downtown area with places to eat, things to see etc without having to get back in the car. Beds were definitely used but comfortable and the space, while being out of date, was surprisingly comfortable. I would have rated 5 stars except for cleanup - I absolutely loath having to spend the last few hours of my vacation stripping beds and worrying about taking out the garbage. Instead of spending the last two hours on the beach with my family, I stayed behind to deal with the cleaning check list. We already pay a cleaning fee, this should be included. Otherwise, great and would recommend, especially for families!

Kids love the area

We return here to Waters Edge often. The kids love to play at clamming, rock hunting, sand castles and more. We all love the beach and eating seafood of course. No trip is complete without a trip to the Oregon Coast Aquarium and/or the Marine Science Center.

The place was clean and very accommodating. Everything was available that we wanted and needed. We were having such a good time with our friends we did even turn the TV on. The view was wonderful. We would stay here again. It was our fiends first time in Lincoln City and they very much enjoyed the stay. And the price was so reasonable.

The place was very nice and cozy, but we were disappointed that the property was not ocean front. We came for the King Tides, and the property faces a bay, but not the ocean. We went to a friends for the waves, so it was okay, but I would say that is the only downfall to the place. However, we still enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for a moms’ getaway weekend (4 of us) and had such a wonderful time! The location couldn’t be better, the place was clean and well stocked, and the views were gorgeous. Parking was easy, and having an elevator was a huge plus since we came loaded with bags, drinks, and snacks!The only downside—and honestly the one thing that almost made me rate 4 instead of 5 stars—was the 10am checkout time. It felt really rushed on our last day and made it tricky to plan a meal before heading out of town. Most hotels and rentals we’ve all used allow until 11 or even noon, which makes for a much smoother checkout.If that ever gets adjusted, this would be absolutely perfect. Otherwise, such a great stay and we’d definitely recommend it!

The property managemen/staff was non existent. 2 of the 7 days we stayed a third party company was testing Fire alarms. Found tooth picks and food left from previous renters in the sleeper couch. Paint and old carpet left in the unit. Dirty pillows and sheets stained yellow, thank goodness we brought our own. Lots of better places to stay.

Great location, but some issues

We loved staying on the bay! Tide pools galore and a quick walk to Mo's! The unit is dated, but comfortable. At check in, the key was missing and it took a few tries to reach the maintenance office. The kitchen garbage was full of trash. There wasn't enough blankets and pillows for the sofa bed.

Lincoln City Stay

Location is great, bathroom was dirty with long dark hair all over. Coffee pot needs replaced. Fan in bathroom needs attention. Ants need to be treated. Even though there were ant traps there were ants all over. We had to keep everything in the fridge and oven to keep the ants out of it.

We stayed on the third floor, so had great views of the bay, however the weather was not up to par. Checking in and out was very easy, and I enjoyed Not having to go to the front desk and check in. Beds were comfortable which is difficult to find these days with hotels and condos. I would Definitely recommend staying here, and will potentially be staying again.

Waters Edge is a clean, well-kept condo/apartment building at the edge of a small bay off the ocean. We loved watching the tide come in and fill the bay. There is a small city park tucked in behind the building. We saw a bald eagle chase off the seagulls to have the beach to himself. The building sits right next to the Taft Historic District which has several shops and a pier that overlooks the bay. The unit was on the 3rd floor. Good elevator access. Nicely furnished (including a couple of pairs of binoculars). Complete kitchen. Plenty of plates and cookware. Seating on the deck. Easy to find. Close to US 101 but we weren't particularly bothered by traffic noise.

Staying in 308 was a horrible experience.

The furniture is old and very broken in. The king bed basically dropped to the floor when you sat on it. The walls are dirty and tub was filthy. Would not stay again if it was free. Stayed in a different unit in March and it was wonderful. The price for this unit being so old and not maintained was ridiculous. Based on this stay I'm not sure I would return to any of the units at Edge Water. There should be some description that this is an old unit.
