I will start by saying the hosts are a very nice couple. They even mailed my mother's toiletry bag and eyeglasses she forgot. The loft is clean and decorated nicely. The only issue I had was the location and the mattress wasn't very comfortable unfortunately. Overall we had a good stay.

Alvin was a great host. The property was clean, he and his wife did a great job designing and decorating the place. They even offered free snacks and had drinks in the fridge which was very much appreciated. The place itself was great, the only thing I would say is the area it's in is not great. Loud traffic and gunshots were heard the nights we were there, however, we did feel safe as the place is gated and the suite is behind 2 separate locked doors. I would recommend staying here if you know the area or are at least know what to expect in the surrounding neighborhoods. Overall it was a good stay and the host was great.

Defied all odds and set the bar high

When we first arrived, we were very skeptical. It was our first time in California, so we didn't know that the places acrually sits in a decent neighborhood. However, all doubts were dispelled when we walked through the door: the place is gorgeous! The hosts have done an amazing job with the space making use of all of the space that they had. It had everything you would expect from a Vrbo and more. The hosts were also some of the sweetest people we've ever met, and they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. If we visit Cali again, we will be staying here.
