Very clean and comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, dog Walter, and I just returned from a wonderful 3 days at this great cabin. My main priority when selecting a rental property is CLEAN, and this cabin is very clean and organized. We had everything we needed to make dinner, relax on the hammock, sit on the front porch, and simply enjoy the peace and quiet and great pinetree smell. Mary made our welcome extra special by leaving wine, water, candy, and popcorn :) As a former CO property management owner, this cabin has it all!

Great cabin in Pinetop

  • 5 of 5

Had an outstanding Family get-a-way for my wife and I and visiting relatives.

The cabin was perfect to accommodate the group, was very clean and included everything we needed for a weekend escape.

Golf across the street, 1/2 hr drive to Sholow fishing, nearby shopping and worked in a couple hours of slots at the casino (10 minute drive) and saw a group of wild horses. Great location!

Beautiful cabin in the forest

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed at this cozy, very comfortable cabin over the 4th of July for 4 days. It was heavenly!! Literally furnished with everything you need. My granddaughters absolutely loved the secret toy area in the loft! Highly recommend this! We loved it so much; we already reserved it for next year for a week. The kitchen was so much fun to cook in.😊

Hidden Gem

  • 5 of 5

I fear writing a glowing review of this cabin will place it in high demand and we wont be able to stay there again. On a Wednesday morning my wife told me “it’s hot lets get out of here this weekend.” I looked on VRBO and found this cabin. With such short noticed I had my doubts I could rent it starting Friday. I e-mailed the owner and she responded quickly. I booked it before early afternoon. We left Phoenix and it was 115 degrees and rising. When we arrived at the cabin, there was a 42 degree drop! The cabin was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Our young child enjoyed the many toys in the secret room. With record heat in Phoenix, we were not in a hurry to leave. However, when the cleaning crew arrived, we gathered our goods post-haste, appologized and left. The owner was understanding about our mistake. We look forward to staying there again.

Lovely experience

  • 5 of 5

Our stay in Mary's cabin was lovely. Prior to the trip I contacted Mary to find out if there was internet available, and she said she hadn't had internet installed prior to this. However she had internet installed a few days before our arrival! We brought our two dogs and they loved nosing around the back yard looking for squirrels. We spent most of our time either on the back deck or on the front porch (depending on if it was raining - we had lovely thunderstorms rolling in each evening and lasting for about an hour before moving off again. we were happy with that as we love the rain!). The lot is very private and the trees block any views the neighbors may have. The community is very quiet and safe. We experienced a couple of area off-road trails in our Jeep, and drove out to Big Lake (a beautiful drive, highly recommended). The only "issue" we had (it really wasn't much of one) was locating where we were to take our trash, since the expectation is that guests remove it prior to departure. We had to drive around a while until we found the community trash area, so providing directions with the cabin information (other than "by hole 11") would be helpful. Also it seemed that only the manned guard gate was available as an exit on the Sunday that we left - the auto gates wouldn't open for us on that day. But no big deal, and we will DEFINITELY stay at Mary's cabin again!
