The Chestnut, 10 guests, near Lake Laura

Enjoy the peace and serenity offered by the Chestnut, a cozy panoramic yurt style cabin complete with floor to ceiling panoramic windows from which to watch the tranquility of the surrounding nature.

Once you've had your fill of relaxing and find yourself in the mood for adventure you can explore Bryce Resort offering winter sports, mountain biking, golf, and more, just 5 minutes away. Or pop on over to Lake Laura (10 mins) for water activities or a calming waterfront stroll or hike.

The space:
Our cozy cabin offers an open space living space where you can enjoy a wood stove from comfy armchairs, or watch your latest obsession or listen to our vinyl record collection from the comfy couch while enjoying a nature view. The living room is overlooked by the kitchen which is fully stocked and with plenty of counter space ready to assist in your culinary creation. In the center of the space you'll find the spiral staircase that leads up to a small cozy indoor lookout sitting area. Only 2 people at a time in the lookout area please, for your own safety.

You'll find that in addition to enjoying views of the outdoors, you can enjoy a variety of outdoor spaces and seating whether it be for a cup of coffee, a meal, to grill, or to relax out by the fire pit.

The lower level has an entertainment area/room for our younger or older guests alike, complete with ice hockey and a Pac Man arcade game!

We welcome up to 2 pets if you have fur babies and charge $30 per pet per stay. Please be sure to let us know that you’ll be bringing your pets with you.
