Spacious, bright and well-maintained 2-bedroom condo in one of the best ski-in, ski-out locations at Jay Peak, Vermont. The condo is in the desirable Village neighborhood and right next to the Grammy Jay trail, so you can ski or ride away directly from the front door. No walking required!
The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops and new stainless appliances. Relax in the large living area by the cozy brick hearth gas fireplace after a day on the slopes, and enjoy the 55” flat screen TV and family board games. A small deck overlooks the woods and trail. The condo has been immaculately maintained and has been updated recently with new paint, furniture and decor. There is no better place to enjoy the fun at Jay Peak!
The condominium sleeps up to 7 people comfortably. The master bedroom has a king size bed, large attached bath and closet and 42" flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a twin over double bunk and twin trundle bed. The living room has a queen-size sofabed. All linens, pillows and blankets are provided. The condo also includes a washer and dryer, an outdoor locker to store your gear, and free use of sleds and snowshoes.
The condo does not have a hot tub; however there is a large outdoor shared hot tub available at the Pumphouse Water Park for those with water park tickets.
There is one assigned parking space for the condo, in front of the condo building. The Village Association requires all other vehicles to park in the free covered parking garage at the Tram Base.
We have an identical 2-bedroom condo (Village 452B) adjacent to this one that's also available for rent if your party needs additional space or you are traveling with multiple families. Additional details can be found at www.vrbo.com/322205.
Jay Peak receives more snow than any other ski area in the East and is well-known for its beautiful and challenging glade trails for beginners through experts. Jay Peak also has the only aerial tram in New England, and an award-winning Graham Cooke-designed Championship Golf Course. You and your companions can also take advantage of the many amenities at Jay Peak, including the Pumphouse Indoor Water Park, Ice Skating Arena, Spa and Fitness Center, Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Center, and many restaurants and bars at the mountain. The Clips N Reels recreation center at Stateside is 5 minutes from the condo, with a movie theater, clip-in ropes course and arcade. There’s lots to do all year round for the whole family!
The condo is also a beautiful place to be in summer and fall, overlooking the ski trail and nearby woods. Air conditioning (rare to find in condos at Jay Peak) is included via a wall-mounted Mitsubishi unit in the living area. It's about a 10-minute walk to the Tram Base, Ice Arena and Water Park, or a 5 minute walk to Stateside. Many of our guests take advantage of the free Jay Peak shuttle that runs between the condos and the restaurants and shops at the Tram Base and Stateside.

About the host

We are Deb and John Light from Burlington, Vermont. We bought our condo new in 2007, and together with our two daughters have enjoyed many fun and memorable times at Jay Peak! We love to help our guests have fun at Jay too, and provide them with a cozy and comfortable 'home away from home' slopeside.
Why they chose this property
After skiing for years at several other ski areas in Vermont, we discovered Jay Peak and fell in love with the atmosphere, the terrain at the mountain and the huge amounts of snow that Jay always seems to get. There are glades all over the mountain -- from incredibly steep and deep areas that the locals know about and we are still discovering, to the beautiful treed trails that our kids love to ski. Jay Peak really is a special place, and it's got so much to do for the entire family year-round, including the Pumphouse Water Park, Clips N Reels climbing center and arcade, movie theater, Ice Haus indoor skating rink, Taiga Spa, Golf Clubhouse and Nordic Ski Center.
What makes this property unique
The location of the condo is absolutely the best! We chose an end unit as close to the trails as possible, and you can't get any closer than this. It's easy to be on the first lift up the mountain, and come in and out for lunch or hot chocolate and to warm up your boots. There's nothing like staying slopeside!
