This cabin was fantastic. Very well designed and beautifully decorated and landscaped. Very well equipped.Absolutely nothing to complain about. Thanks!
It was a wonderful experience. We loved the peace & quiet. The cabin was perfect for the rest and relaxation we hoped for. The view out the living and dining area was awesome. We loved the seclusion at the end of the long winding driveway.
Property was better than the pictures. Interior is tastefully decorated, charming cottage meets 21st century art and crafts community. Woods with pleasing views make the situation ideal. Owner commucates well.
This is the 2nd time My Love and I have stayed here. This cabin couldn’t be MORE COZY and CLOSE to anything you need while being in the woods…best open fire pit grill to cook up meat from Miller High View. The MOST PEACEFUL, COMFORTABLE AND PERFECT escape while being able to work remote and RESET!!! If you want to tk see a sunset or sunrise and be close enough to buy beer and bourbon, fresh local produce, or watch a movie on the couch or chill under the trees on the hammock…THIS CABIN IS FOR YOU!!!
Our stay was amazing. This cabin was everything advertised and more. The history of the property was an extra fact that we learned while there and made our stay much more adventurous. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a little solitude and relaxation. We will return, soon, now that we know this place is here.
The place was just as advertised, everything was clean and up kept well including the landscaping and road to the cabin. The owner was very communicative, gave all of the necessary instructions before we arrived and even checked in on us to make sure we had everything that we needed. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing stay at this adorable historic cabin in Berea, KY! The cabin was full of charm and character, and the location couldn't have been more perfect for exploring all that Kentucky has to offer. From kayaking through a flooded, abandoned mine to exploring the vast Mammoth Caves and visiting the Ark Encounter, our days were packed with adventure.John was a fantastic host—quick to respond and full of great local recommendations that made our trip even better. My family and I truly felt at home and already can’t wait to come back for another stay!
Easy instructions for gate, door and wifi. We loved seeing deer and turkeys around the cabin. The lane was perfect for evening walks. Love all the green details of the cabin. The property is impecably maintained. Awesome to have washer n dryer and so many items conveniently stocked in the cabin. Thank you! An ale8one bottle would make a perfectly Kentucky vase for the color scheme.

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
Nestled in the mountain on secluded property, it was peaceful and quiet. The cabin itself is impeccably clean and has just what you would need for a quiet get away. Yet this place was short drives to many destinations. We had a great family getaway with many memories made!
