Villa La Jolla with gardens, jungle, pool and valley view - 20 day minimum stay

Cathedral ceilings, giant front window makes you feel outdoors, crystal clear pool, nice view, well taken care of landscape and gardens, tangerine tree, mango trees, macadamia tree, quite, private, only 30 minutes from airport, 45 minutes to a beautiful tropical Pacific beach. The back yard has a view of the jungle with birds, monkeys, iguanas and a flock of parrots, and stars at night. For hikers just outside our gated driveway is a 2km loop around up and down the hill about 15 minutes walk with spectacular views of the central valley and volcanoes. 5 minutes to town with a variety of good restaurants, a number of grocery stores, banks, and doctors.

Great place to enjoy the "best climate in the world"

We felt right at home at Villa la Jolla. The house had everything we needed for a simple, relaxing stay. We were able to cook our own meals, good internet, Smart TV, comfortable furniture - nothing too lavish - just right for us. The pool is a lovely treat. From time to time, friendly iguanas and agouti came into the yard to visit. There is a green area next to the house with beautiful bird life. It is a convenient location - a short drive into Atenas.. Many thanks to our kind host, Bruce, and property manager Eunice. We hope to return and wish we were still there!

Hello, I am Bruce, live in Dallas Texas most of the time and enjoy my house in Costa Rica in summer and winter and hope you will enjoy it as a central location. 40 minutes to the Pacific beach, 4 hours to Tamarindo Beach 3 hours to Tabacon, a world class spa situated on a thermal hot spring and neighbors the town of La Fortuna which features Horse back riding, mystic bridges in the tree canopies, as well as zip lines for the family.

I love Costa Rica, it is one of the most beautiful places in the world for wildlife and nature. I will retire here some day so come visit while you can. So if you travel for adventure, medical or dental needs, or just to experience nature at its finest, Atenas was named as the most perfect weather in the world, and I think you will agree. it is the heart of the Pura Vida lifestyle, the Pure Life.

What makes this property unique

The weather here is perfect, 65 in the morning 85 at noon and 75 at 3 pm. The birds will awaken you at 6, the short 2km hike around Vista with its views is amazing.
