Good house for a large group, great location. Only real negative was the AC wasn’t consistent. There was one bedroom that was significantly warmer than all others. And only some rooms had ceiling fans so hard to keep comfortably cool.

It was a great house- plenty of beds, fairly clean, responsive hosts. Kitchen space on main floor was tight for our group size. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the pool. Overall, it was a good, quick stay.

Place was great, we did have some issue connecting to the wifi. We call the helpline and Ella was quick in assisting us. The floor boards in the 1st floor in my opinion were loose and need replacement . Otherwise the place was great.

Great stay for Thanksgiving!

We had a huge family get together here for Thanksgiving and the home was perfect. Close walk to beach. The kids loved the arcade downstairs!

Great beach house!

This home was perfect for our large extended family. It was very close to the beach and was well stocked. The game room was a hit with all the kids. We would definitely stay here again.

Beach fun

This property is great. It’s close to the beach and you can get into Galveston. Super easy property has lots of options and the pool was nice. We had our whole family from all over the country and everyone loved it and is looking forward to coming back to the same property.

Positives: Access to the beach was great. The pool was nice. The beds were comfortable. A lot of room in the house. The deck was nice. Game room was nice.Negatives: The pictures of this house online are amazing compared to what is really in the house. House was dirty. Showers were not clean. Game room had cobwebs and spiders. Also a dead frog on the floor. Front bedroom with queen size bed was not usable because the room would not cool. They brought us a portable air-conditioner that we were not able to use. Mold in the hall where the stairway is. Oven was not clean. Could not use it. No closets or drawers for clothes. No master bathroom. Dishes in the kitchen were not clean. Air fryer, toaster and coffee pot were not clean. Beachbox management responded the first two days. Told us they would get the portable air working and the oven cleaned. No one showed up. Very stressful vacation due to all the problems at the beginning. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO places. I do not like giving negative ratings. Hopefully management will do better for the next people on vacation.

Fun for the Whole Family

This beach house was perfect for our large family of 15 with an easy walk to the beach. Plenty of beds, parking an living space. The outdoor tables on the deck could accomodate everyone at the same time for meals although the mosquitos were vicious at night. We would stay here again.
