Great location between Lower Tahquamenon Falls and Paradise. Unit was clean, comfortable and included basic amenities. Nice back patio with grill, chairs, fire pit and hammock. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice place to stay!

Cool funky vibe, roomy, nice amenities, walking distance to hiking trails (bring your bug spray and net this time of year) that go on for miles, slept to the sound of the elusive whip-poor-will call and woke up to the meep of the woodcock. My kind of place. Thanks Jason!

The remote for the bedroom light and fan was missing and we could not get the fireplace heaters to turn on. Neither issues was urgent, but we messaged the host and received no response.

Perfect for home base when exploring the area

Its not a bad place but needs finishing in a few areas. The fireplace remotes didnt work, but during our stay didnt really need it. Check in was easy, area is quite. We had a blast checking out everything the area had to offer and this place made it easy to get some rest for the next adventure.

Black Pearl in Paradise

Very nice property that hit all our needs for a Fourth of July holiday. Wish we had more time to chill at the property. This place was all set up for meal prep with spices, oils, condiments and excellent equipment. Even a fire pit and grill!

This is a basic but functional unit, with a fridge/stove/dishwasher/outdoor grill, and cooking/eating basics. We stayed for one night. The location is excellent if your destination is Taquamenon Falls or the Whitefish Bay area. We especially liked the ease of self check-in as well as the fire pit and chairs in the back. We would have liked a sliding screen door for the back door-wall (in addition to the sliding glass door) so that we could leave both front windows (which have screens) and the rear door-wall open for better air circulation (as the unit has no A/C). We would stay again.
