Whitefish Point Lighthouse, Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and Bird Observatory, Taqumenon Falls and Taqumenon river mouth are a short distance away.

There is no smoking allowed in the cabin. Wash the dishes that you use and tidy up. There is NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY by the river so children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
This cabin is located in a beautiful remote wooded area of the upper peninsula. Wildlife, birds and insects are abundant. Mosquito protection is necessary various times of the year. Guests should bring mosquito spray, protective clothing and minimize opening doors.
