What a beautiful setting. The house was well outfitted with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The house layout was perfect. The decor was stylish and uncluttered. The dogs loved the big yard and the daily walks on the beach. Worth every penny.

martin family stay at Old Lyme

Griswold Point is a special place for us. We have spent many years enjoying the area. It feels like home, is serene and quiet. The nearby rivers and marshes are great for kayaking and birding. And Old Lyme is one of those timeless, beautiful New England towns you will never forget.

We were here this past August, loved it so much that we hoped to return during the Holiday season. We were not disappointed in the least! Caroline, the host, added extra special touches to make our stay so warm and inviting! We were pleasantly surprised to see a tree, chocolates, holiday candle & soaps. We even awoke to falling snow upon our departure…we didn’t want to leave!Linda, Fred & Oliver

Simply the best

This is quite possibly the best property in which I have ever stayed! The house was extremely clean. The bedrooms were a lovely size. The property itself is calm and serene and the beach was beautiful. Joe thought of everything! I am already looking forward to staying at this property again.

We had a marvelous, restful 2 weeks here. Everything was new and fresh and comfortable. We were able to make bbq ribs, clam chowder and Swedish coffee bread for family and friends. The kitchen had everything we needed. I didn’t expect to be able to have espresso! The beach is a lovely 1/2 mile walk and all the equipment, including a beach wagon, is available. We’d definitely recommend this home!
