Welcome to “Take It Easy.” Purchased and recently updated in March 2023!

Right as you enter the community of Beachwalk, the rainbow of homes welcomes you with feelings of joy and excitement. You may spot the community heated pool, sand volleyball court, basketball court, tennis court, multiple parks and soo much more! Our beautiful home is located quietly in the back of the community RIGHT on Lake Kai. There are only a few homes in Beachwalk that offer waterfront and a private sandy beach!

In the home an array of windows throughout the 3 floors allows for stunning natural light and GORGEOUS picturesque views of the lake. We are locals and have lived in the NW Indiana and SW Michigan area our whole lives. We are so proud of our little piece of paradise, and we can’t wait for you to experience it for yourself!

Sorry but we DO NOT ALLOW ANY PETS in our home. We love our animals too but we must be respectful to our renters with allergies. If we find that you have snuck a pet in you will be asked to leave with no refund.

We value your sense of security so we just added an ADT Security system and coded front door keypad that will be changed with every new renter. We will send you the code right before your stay. Beachwalk offers their own security that patrols the community as well. It is a very safe area but it’s nice to know these things are offered.

The main floor offers a dining table, fully stocked kitchen with utensils, dishes, cups, coffee makers (both drip and Keurig), paper towels, garbage bags, baby high chair, double dishwasher, countertop seating, open floor plan living room, TV with Fire Stick, a two way fireplace that also opens onto the fully screened in porch! Newly refreshed with brand new screens, paint, ceiling fans, extra large dining table that seats 12, rugs, and a cozy outdoor couch to snuggle around the fireplace. '

Steps head down from this porch directly to the private sandy beach and Lake Kai. Back on the main floor we have a full bathroom with tub/shower combo, all the linens, blow dryer, hotel sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, and lotion. The commode area is separated behind a door. This bathroom opens directly into the main hallway and also into a bedroom with a Queen size bed.

Down the hall is ONE of the master bedrooms with a King size bed and two bathrooms inside including one with just the commode and sink and the other with a large glass walk in shower and sink. All of the bathrooms in the home are fully stocked with the items I mentioned in the first bathroom description. We’ve also included 2 baby gates for the stairs, 2 pack n plays with sheets, 1 mini crib, and 1 baby bath seat.

Upstairs you’ll be welcomed into the loft area that overlooks the main floor. We have two cozy futons that open into Full size beds, a sweet window surrounded nook that has the best view of the lake. We added a two couches to enjoy quiet mornings sipping coffee when the weather isn’t “deck ready,” chatting with your loved ones or snuggled up reading a book!

Right next to the nook you can head out to the second story deck. We just replaced all the wooden decking with composite decking for comfort and durability. This deck is not covered so it’s the place to be to lay out and enjoy the sun! It also has a gas outdoor fireplace and on outdoor couch for a cozy spot to sit and enjoy your favorite drink and look up at the stars. The second master bedroom is right down the hall and features a King size bed, a twin bed, TV with firestick and attached large bathroom with HUGE all glass shower complete with multiple spray nozzles. There is a second door in the bathroom for hallway access.

Downstairs on the ground floor you’ll find the laundry room stocked with a new washer and dryer, detergent and dryer sheets, slop sink, and an extra fridge. Down the hall is a bathroom with a shower, the bunk room with a bunk of two Twins and a bunk of two Fulls, a smaller bedroom with Queen bed, a futon and TV with firestick. A large living room with two couches, games and puzzles, a TV with firestick, and a brand new air hockey/ping pong table.

You can head outside to the concrete patio to relax in the shade, enjoy our brand new HOT TUB, cook on the new gas grill, or enjoy your private sandy beach and fire pit! We are located right next to the brand new bocce ball court, shuffleboard court and kayak and paddle board rentals! They are free to rent with your Beachwalk Community wristbands! Right from our beach you can walk down the boardwalk along the lake to the community pool, splash pad, sand volleyball court, clubhouse with observation deck, pool table, ping pong table, inside and outside decks, big screen TV, and the community's very own restaurant called the Beach Hut. Just a little bit farther down you will walk down the white boardwalk to the beach and Lake Michigan! We have a wagon to help haul down those beach must haves and 8 beach chairs!

FISHING! You can fish dawn to dusk on the main fishing pier at 234 Beachwalk Lane and in the ponds at Waterfall Park and Putting Green Park. You can also fish the pier located directly next to our house but you will need to do it before the kayak rentals start at 8:00am. You can fish off the beach in our back yard at any time too of course.

Golf Cart rentals are a breeze through the community’s approved vendor LanCam. You will call them directly at (219) 929-9221 to book your cart and schedule the drop off date.

Wristbands are needed for anyone above the age of 4 to use any of the community amenities. Please make sure that your occupancy is updated properly so we can leave the the proper number to ensure that you have access

Parking passes are required for any vehicle parked within the community. Our home offers enough room in our driveway to fit two vehicles side by side and one perpendicular in front of them. Thankfully we are only 75 yards away from the large overflow lot for any vehicles that won’t fit.

- Absolutely NO smoking in the home. Any cigarette butts found around the property will result in a loss of $50 per cigarette butt found from your security deposit.

-Must be at least 30 years old and present for the duration of the stay to reserve.

-Beachwalk has a strong policy on no fireworks.

-Please be respectful to our neighbors and community.
