Great location to Golden Peak and within walking distance to Vail Village

Overall, we had a great experience at this condo. Location was perfect for us since we came out to see our son who staying at the Manor Vail and was at a college ski camp where training was at Golden Peak. Easy walk to the village too. I would like to have seen more towels since there was only 3 large towels and 3 of us. Would be nice to have 2 per person. Little things were provided..., paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, etc. Nice touch. The appliances are small in size but certainly were fine since we did not cook much. I love the fact that the bedroom had a king size bed since my husband is a big guy.

Great, quiet, convenient!

Great little place to stay for our Labor Day weekend. Loved the peaceful setting, which backs directly to Gore Creek. We and our children (ages 7 & 11) played along the creek. Conveniently, everything was walking distance (Botanical Gardens, Village center, and Lionshead). This is a 1 bedroom unit which also has a sleeper sofa in the living room--so our kiddos shared the sleeper sofa (also noticed there were blow up mattresses in the closet in case we needed, but we did not use). It was clean and the building was quiet--I know others were there, but never heard them. Condo was well-stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils, dish soap/dishwasher detergent, recycling bin, towels, toiletries, blow dryers, broom, vac, games, books, etc. We did not use, but the washer/dryer is conveniently located across the hall. The living space is small with the sleeper sofa out, but still manageable for our family. Bathroom a bit dated, but was not an issue for us. Loved that there was a no smoking policy for the unit. :)

Excellent!!!

The apartment provide us with the opportunity of playing with the snow in a private/secure manner. We had several snow ball fights, we build a snowman and a fort. We walk by the creek and watch/feed the birds. A very tranquil and relazing week,

Location: superb. We walk to ski school, to shops and restaurants. We rented a miniva and we only used it to go to the supermarket. Next time I will get a taxi and save the car rental expense.

We will be back next year and I hope we can rent the same apartment.

wonderful!

we loved our stay here! half the price but all the amenities of similar places in Vail. We enjoyed the feeling of home. Nice touches with the movie selection, board games, reading selection, etc. The kitchen has everything you'll need and having a coin laundry directly across the hall made our packing much lighter! The doors off to the back open up to a nice lawn with trees on the side of the creek with a table and chairs to enjoy lunch. Bed was comfortable, nice comforter and pillows as well.

Only issue was very minor. We could not find a parking pass left for us. It took 3 days and 3 phone calls to get one. In the meantime, they told us to put a sign on our dash with our name and room number. This worked fine, I just still worried I would get towed. We ran into one other parking issue, which was also minor. Instructions are to park wherever as long as marked vail trails east and does not say owner (even though each spot is marked with a specific unit number, they say this doesn't matter). we did get a not happy note on our car telling us to move one day because they were the owner of that unit. We double checked and that spot was not marked owner and was definitely part of vail trails east (when we called, the help line suggested that we might have accidentally parked next door). Perhaps they had just not updated the sign? No big deal, just had to move the car. I suspect these issues can be fixed before the next guest, I would not let this affect my decision to stay here. It really was a great stay. P.S. the helpline people always answered and seemed very helpful. It was a holiday weekend, so that may be why it took a few days to get the pass.

Great stay, awesome location!

We had a wonderful stay! The location could not be better in Vail Village! The river running behind the condo is lovely! We enjoyed walking all around the village, no need to even have a car! The accomadations were great, the pullout sofa was very comfy as was the king bed! Kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for sharing this property with us!!

The condo is a perfect location. Easy walk to lifts and restaurants. Parking in front, very nice. The condo was very clean, everything worked. Even though it is a garden level condo, still plenty of light from the windows on Gore Creek. I look forward to booking it again.
