We had an amazing week staying at this adorable cottage. It was clean, bright and welcoming. The outdoor shower was clutch post beach time and the yard allowed for our dog to enjoy the trip as much as we did. Add in the access to the coastal trail and it was unbeatable. We would love to stay here again for another adventure in Half Moon Bay!

So grateful to get to bring our dogs with us! This was a wonderful getaway, great communication, and such a lovely beach cottage. Easy walk to the beach to either enjoy the view from the bluff or walk down the stairs to the sand. We all remarked on how much if felt like somewhere we would want to call home.

We and our pups enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable, but mostly the beautiful gardens where we can play and read and just be. After receiving confirmation from host that there was a long term tenant on the property, we worried over our privacy. Honestly the property is split with each of us not needing to interact - which was important as we wanted our pups safe.Everything about the cottage fit our needs. Plan to return!

Our stay was excellent! The property was clean, the kitchen had what we needed, and it easily accommodated our family of five (two adults, three kids)! The backyard with fire pit was a great place to hang out and make smores. The property was beautiful and relaxing. The check-in/check-out process was easy. We had a great time!!

First, we loved the location for our one night rental. Walk out the front door and you are on beach trails. Town was just a couple minutes away.House was very cozy and well appointed - nothing fancy as you’d hope for in a pet friendly beach rental.I would stay again and recommend with confidence.

This is our fifth Half Moon Bay area rental home and hands down our favorite. Close walk to Poplar Beach, gorgeous yard/lot with plenty of space inside and out. Meticulously clean and well stocked. Relaxed vibe for decor, comfortable furniture and warm lighting. Owners are friendly and quick to communicate and touch base. Will be our go-to rental for our bi-annual trip to HMB, it's a splurge for our budget, but worth it.

Great Property

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Beach Cottage. It was conveniently located in Half Moon Bay, and the property was clean, quiet and well equipped. Our dogs also enjoyed the fully fenced in yard. We would highly recommend staying at this property.

Simple, home like, clean and welcoming perfect

Wanted to have our small multigenerational fam stay where everybody could relax and be together at the same time. The grandkids sitting on the couch poring over their tide pool books defined the stay. Beautiful all the way around. If we didn't live across the country we would come here often. Thank you for your hospitality and the warm welcome feeling of the whole stay.

Charming cottage in relaxing location

My adult children and I and my small dog really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is clean, cozy and well-appointed, with ocean walks just down the street. Easy access. Beds were comfortable, even the twin.
