Welcome to Dragonfly, formerly known as Coconuts, located on beautiful St. George Island, Florida.
Enjoy being first tier across from the white sandy beaches of St. George Island. Everything is new from the inside out, including windows, doors, cabinets, countertops, appliances, flooring, paint, showers, baths, vanities, and more.
The owner’s vision for Dragonfly is to offer customers a beautiful, clean, well- maintained vacation home for their stay. This home across from the beach sleeps 9, and has a pool, and elevator.
As you walk through Dragonfly you will feel the tranquil neutral nautical vibe throughout. The earthtone colors and mix of natural material were selected to give a peaceful, relaxing feel at this home. You can listen to the ocean waves from all balconies! Dragonfly features 4 bedrooms with King size beds and glass doors that let out to decks overlooking the beach side. All bedrooms have their own private bathroom.
The living, dining and kitchen space is an open concept floor plan with plenty of windows to let natural light in. The double decks off the living/dining/bedrooms is great for laying out, relaxing, or having a cold drink. The kitchen at Dragonfly is fully equipped with supplies from simple baking to a low country boil or larger dinner party. Mixer, blender, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, measuring cups, Dragonfly has all you need!
To help you get a visual of the pictures: Upon entering the home on the first level is the entry to a stairway, including a spot for luggage/float/fishing pole storage, and the elevator of course. The 2nd floor houses 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and a separate laundry room. Take the elevator or stairway up to the 3rd floor to visit the main living area which includes kitchen/living/dining, 1/2 bath, & a King Master bedroom & bathroom.
You are only steps away from the St. George Island beach, in a low traffic area of West Gorrie Drive.
Outside of Dragonfly you will find a large carport for parking with a Gas Grill underneath. Extra refrigerator in downstairs carport closet for guest use. If the propane runs out during your stay, give us a call and we will re-fill it. There is a private outdoor Shower, so you can rinse off after your day at the beach. Outdoor Utility sink for cleaning fish, washing your hands after barbecuing or filling up water balloons. There is plenty of space in the carport to store your pool floats and beach gear as well.
Dragonfly has a Beautiful, fenced Private Pool, fully furnished outside with loungers, table & chairs!

Very hard to get the location of the house. Had trouble with the notice when the 2nd payment was due. After we arrived, everything was great. We all had a great stay.
Great house for 4 couples. The kitchen was well stocked, the elevator made loading in/out easy, and the outdoor area was relaxing. The management was responsive and provided clear info.2 suggestions: more hooks or racks in the bathrooms and a refresh of cutting knives.

Please don’t let the fact that this property is across from the street from the beach deter you from booking. Every single room has an ocean view and when sitting on the porches you felt like you as if you’re staying in a beachfront property. It’s literally steps to the beach. The location was quiet and the pool was lovely. We will definitely come back to the Dragonfly!

Property was clean and very nice. Everything was great!! Nicely updated and renovated. The only negative was some of the showers did not drain very well. You would be ankle deep in water at the end of your shower.
Just lovely, lovely home! Felt super comfortable, very clean, well cared for and very welcoming! We basically lived in the top deck, and the views were fantastic and also allowed us to chat with walkers, bike riders, etc. Walk to the beach is a breeze! Beds were super comfortable, kitchen nicely stocked, and pool was such an added bonus. We will definitely return and I would say if you’re unsure if you should book, DO it! You won’t forget it!
We are frequent visitors to SGI, visiting at least annually the past 6-7 years. This property was recently renovated and exceeded all expectations. Don’t let the “across the street” location fool you.. you have an excellent view of the dolphins swimming in the gulf and minimal steps to getting your toes in the sand. 10/10 recommend. And don’t forget to book your beach chairs and golf cart with Jolly Roger .. easiest and best decision so far…

Newly renovated home right across the street from the beach. All aspects of the home were incredible. All bedrooms have balconies that face the ocean. An elevator makes it easy to send up loads of luggage or groceries to the appropriate floor. Jerry (manager) was so easy to work with and very responsive to any issues. Having the pool was a huge bonus - and it's bigger than a kidney bean! Will definitely be using this home again.

Very impressed with outside appearance of home. Also pleased with space and comfort of inside of home. Only negative was the lack of cleanliness of the inside of home. Could definitely tell that it was obviously a quick cleaning before we got there. But specifically, the bathrooms were dirty with hair in most tubs and on floors. I do have some OCD so was definitely a struggle for me, so I immediately cleaned and vacuumed all areas. Overall a great vacation home.
