Great budget friendly accommodation
We stayed here for 6 nights. Magnolia was lovely to deal with remotely via messages and we engaged face to face with the property manager, Rigo, upon our arrival. He was very nice too, and quick to address any issues that arose.
The property is in a good location, in a residential part of the town. I felt safe walking the streets, even in the evenings. It was walking distance from the bus station and the main strip, but far enough away so you don't hear the thumping music playing all night, and no drunk people stumbling down the street. The property was adequately and nicely furnished. The bedroom air-conditioning worked well. There were some neighbourhood dogs which visited the street sometimes which made noise at each other and other dogs behind fences. They once barked at us too, but they were "all bark and no bite" thankfully, and they kept their distance, so I didn't feel overly worried.
I would happily stay here again and think it was reasonable value for money. The wifi also worked very well and was reliable.
If you do stay here, make sure you ask Magnolia to send you a map of where the property is, because the location that Google/stayz shows for the address was not accurate for us (the location was actually better, and closer to the beach!).
