Great location. Worked out great having the pool and beach so close. Place needs some upgrades but overall it accommodated our family of 19.

Great vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The property manager was amazing with any small issues we had. We were able to check in early which helped us enjoy an entire day. We loved the location and the beach and the pool was great.

If you are looking for a quiet vacation spot this is not for you. I choose this house over a condo thinking it would be a quieter. Unfortunately, being that it is a duplex, you may have very inconsiderate neighbors . During our stay, we had a large group staying next door. They were very noisy all day and all night long. They would still be outside partying in the pool until after midnight, with flashlight shinning in our windows. You can also hear every thing that is going on next door through the thin walls. There are steps going down to the pool on both sides on the duplex, but ours seemed to be always used by the other guests which was annoying when you are there in the house and people are looking in your windows- no blinds or curtains in the living room. We were never able to enjoy the pool because there were always so many people already in it. When they left I asked the rental company to send someone out to clean the pool because it was so full of sand, toys, and other peoples hair floating in it. They sent someone out who cleaned up the toys, but they never cleaned the pool or cleaned the deck off from all the sand. So, unless you are renting both sides of this duplex I would not suggest it.About the house itself:The beds are old and lumpy and not comfortable.Pots and pans in the kitchen need replaced.Small living area (dining, kitchen, living) for a large groupNeed cleaned out - draws and closets have a lot of junk in them.The beach was nice!

Hi Jill. I’m sort you has sick a time with the guests next door. That is definitely not the normal! We typically have families and zero problems in that area. The pots, pans, and most mattresses are brand new, so I’m not sure what could be going on there, but we’ll certainly take a look and replace anything that needs replaced.

Family vacation

Enjoyed the property and closeness to the beach and pool. Couple of issues: dryer vent appears stopped up and one of the upstairs TVs did not work.

The beds need to be replaced. My opinion is a vacation is about rest and relaxation and the beds were pretty bad with the exception of the king on 3rd floor which was comfortable.

Switching from condo to a house

We usually stay in a condo every year this year we all went in together and rented a house on the beach it was the best vacation ever and the only way to do it so much privacy, no elevators, no crowds at the beach loved it

Great beach house!

This house is beautiful and had plenty of room for our group of 16. Directly on the water with a very nice pool. A few things to be aware of: The pool is shared with the other half of the duplex. One of the rooms with 2 double beds are a bunk bed and two of the twin beds are bunks. While the house is pet friendly, the beach is not so be aware your pet will not be allowed on the beach All that being said, we would stay again in a heartbeat, it was great for our family. Highly recommended

Family Labor Day Trip

House was nice. Location was good. Found water bottles under one of beds. There were ants in pool. Not much storage in kitchen, the ice machine was a nice plus. Not enough towels for the amount of house capacity. No instructions for usage of TV's.

Anniversary celebration

Our two adult children and their families met for a second time in Gulf Shores and enjoyed our week! Grandkids ranged from ten to 21 and there was great bedroom space for all. Bathrooms were nice. Loved the beachfront location and the pool. We were lucky to have the other side of the duplex un-used because the pool was used a ton so we didn’t have to share it. The biggest negative was the quality of the beds. The king size bed mattresses are all way past the comfort zone. They really need replaced. Also, the kitchen pots and pans are pretty old. All in all a great week. .

Fabulous location

The location of the property was fabulous! And the pool -which we shared with the neighbors was large and was sparkling clean. I reached out mid-week as it looked a bit cloudy, but that was the day the maintenance was done and it returned to its sparkling condition. The house had a wonderful amount of seating for our family of 16, the kitchen was stocked fairly. The walk to the beach was very short and the beach was clean. The ice machine was another wonderful addition. The carpet on the stairs needed a good cleaning as did the banister and the vents upstairs. We had a broken TV, faucet and lock and the property manager fixed it the day I contacted them. One of the rooms with double beds, was a double bunk which limited who could stay in there. I would definitely stay here again! Restaurants and stores were close by too.

Ocean views were great. Access to beach great. Towel provisions were very scarce for the number of occupants. Many bathrooms lacked towel hooks. Some drawers would not open. Difficult to control heat on stove. Deck lounge chairs without cushions and very uncomfortable. Deck lighting very poor and no fan on deck. Deck poorly maintained to prevent slivers. No instructions for TVs.
