We were very happy with the property. We were in town for a football game and although we did not spend much time at the house, the location was very comfortable and convenient. It was roughly a 20 minute walk to the stadium.
This was a great find for our family trip to Gainesville. Quaint old Florida home, nicely remodeled & up to date while still keeping that old Florida charm. Accommodations met our family needs perfectly. Communication with Host was timely. We will definitely keep this home in our favorites list.
Everything was wonderful. Very clean and convenient location to the venue we were attending. Would have liked to have a motion light on side of house where parking is and mirrors in the bedrooms for doing hair and makeup. But we definitely were happy and would stay there again.
Flexible sleeping arrangements to accommodate family. Inside was clean. Outside could use some cleanup. Parking was limited but had retail center across street.
Went to visit our son who is a student at UF. Property was clean and well equipped. Only flaw was that I didn't locate the extra towels until the last night of our stay and the frying pans in the kitchen needed to be to be replaced. When I mentioned this to the owner, she thanked me and said she would take care of this before the next guest. We were also surprised that only 2 vehicles were allowed since this is a 4 bedroom home that sleeps 8. It was a little tricky swapping one car at our son's apartment everytime he came over to hang with us.
The home is well situated and close to all, including the UF Campus. Rooms were all spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms could use some updating and repairs. Exterior needs a little more lighting as it was difficult to find at night. A driveway would also be good.
Nice bedrooms, comfortable mattresses. Terrific back patio with table and six chairs – we ate breakfast lunch dinner outside every day.The house was clean, except for the floors which need a good scrubbing. I would suggest some new items in the kitchen like the pots and pans and cooking utensils. Dining room chairs are quite wobbly.Outdoor lighting by the parking pad would be helpful.Overall, it was a good place to stay in a convenient location.

Gainesville Reunion Stay
The house was very well located, nicely appointed and very clean. Contact with the owner was well done although parking was problematic.
On our departure morning, a fuse blew out- we were unable to find the fuse box to reset. We ended up calling the management company, who said they would see to the issue.
All in all, a nice place to gather old friends for a reunion.
Thank you.
The owner canceled last minute because they got more money on another site. VRBO left me scrambling to find other accommodations. Only offered to pay for 1 night stay in hotel for max 250 which would not even get you a room in a nice hotel. Found another home on another web site and it was great. May not use VRBO anymore.

UF Graduation
The mark up for this property over UF's graduation weekend was not worth it. Property is run down and not as described. Broken dishwasher, bugs, odor, and laundry left undone upon check in. Then told parking is limited to only two vehicles on rubber driveway or risk being towed or kicked out. We did end up being allowed more than two cars. Had to clean back deck to use.
We stayed at this property for 3 days. It is nicely renovated and clean. There is a tv in every room. The modern kitchen is spacious and well equipped. It has two shortcomings. No covered parking and you are instructed not to turn the thermostat below 72 degrees. If you tend to be warm, you will be warm here. Also, the smoke alarm blasted several times including the middle of the night. This was not chirping when the battery is low. It occurred when we were not cooking. I don’t know what this was about. Lastly, we chose to ignore the host’s inappropriate begging for a 5 rating.
We stayed at this home during graduation weekend, so we expected the premium price—but for nearly 1,000 a night, we also expected more in return. The house was clean and laid out nicely for our family, which we appreciated. However, a number of small issues added up and became more frustrating as the weekend went on.The listing advertises a large backyard, but it’s really just a dirt lot. Parking was another frustration: with multiple bedrooms, it makes more sense to allow at least one car per room, but only two cars are permitted. We were also surprised that basic essentials were missing—no coffee filters, foil, plastic wrap, or kitchen towels were provided. These are small things that make a big difference, especially at this price point. The dining room chairs are very wobbly to the point of being a safety concern. Additionally, the ceiling fan in one bedroom is broken and, based on older reviews, has been for some time without being fixed. Overall, the house has potential.
Great location, especially for visiting UF campus. Walking distance to multiple restaurants and even to a UF football game (~2 miles). Good layout for families or couples as 1 bed/1 bath is located on opposite side of house from the other 3 beds/1 bath.
There were some minor things with the house that made our stay less than perfect. Each thing on its own was not necessary to contact owner about during our stay (except for 1 issue), but when added up, these were inconveniences that showed the house was not kept in the best shape for guests. Floors were dirty throughout the house; Ice maker in fridge did not work (there were ice trays, but that meant no ice when we first arrived and we had to keep up with the ice during our stay); Ceiling fan in 1 bedroom did not work (there was a portable fan given); Door knob in 1 bedroom kept falling off the handle; Toilet paper rod in 1 bathroom kept falling off the wall.
On our last night, we intended to do laundry as there was a washer/dryer in the house, however we discovered the laundry detergent canister was empty. I contacted the host and received a prompt response back, however the response was simply a "I'll check with my team on it", and we never heard from them again. As such, we had to go purchase our own detergent to do laundry.
We had a nice stay. Property was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Good value for the cost. Convenient location. Icemaker in fridge would make loud clicking noises for 10-15 minute periods several times a day.
