This property was perfect for my kids and I to do a 3 day getaway to ski! Ski in, ski out was ideal - short walk to the base was great for apres! The hosts were excellent communicators and I'd love to stay again!
Cozy, quiet and clean property. Nice king bed and well-equipped kitchen.
No dresser/storage area for clothes other than hangers in closet.
We were a bit disappointed that fireplace doesn’t work after ski season. I saw later that was mentioned at the very end of property description but think that should be noted in list of amenities.
The property was beautiful, the patio was amazing and a perfect venue for morning workouts. We had questions but the quick and easy responses made it a non issue. The hot tub was divine and we enjoyed the cool weather. We definitely will return as it was an amazing location!
We had a great stay at the Hideout. The space was clean and modern. Is located close to a bus stop and electric chargers, which was great. The hot tub was, unfortunately, still closed despite the sign saying it would be. Not the Hideout's fault but still a bummer.
The home was great. We showed up and it was clean and comfortable. It was in a good part of town with plenty to do around it. The hot tub was a nice touch too.
Though not ski-in/ski-out the location worked well for us. We didn't rent a car, so were relieved to find the walk was reasonable to both the base of the mountain and the bus stop to get to town. The place was clean and nicely furnished. The management was quick to reply to communications.
Our stay at Ski Haven Hideout in Steamboat was exactly what we were hoping for—comfortable, convenient, and perfect for a mountain getaway. Even though we visited in May and didn’t ski, the location was still a huge highlight. It’s close to everything in town, making it easy to get around, grab food, and explore without feeling stuck in one spot. The home itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a great layout for our group, with plenty of space to relax and unwind after a full day out. We just wish the hot tub was available, but totally understand why not.One of our favorite parts of the trip was the short, easy drive to Strawberry Park Hot Springs—definitely a must-do if you’re staying here. It was the perfect way to relax and made the location even more ideal. The hosts made everything simple with clear communication and an easy check-in/check-out process, which we really appreciated.Overall, Ski Haven Hideout is a great choice year-round, not just for ski season. We’d absolutely come back.
Quick 2day trip to Steamboat and this condo had everything we needed. Perfect location within walking distance of all activities on the resort and a short drive into town. The unit was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bedding a decor new and fresh. The outside seating was a nice plus to capture the cool mountain air in the morning and evening. The hosts graciously provide toiletries and even coffee. Check in was easy and effortless. We would stay here again in summer or winter. Thank you for the hospitality.
The access to the apartment is well described; there are stairs and staircases to navigate, and that can be hard when carrying lots of ski gear. But if one is okay with that, the apartment is tidy and fine for a skiing stay. It is great that parking is provided. Try and get precise directions for getting to and from the ski slope, but it is relatively easy to ski in, and ski out requires a staircase down, crossing the road, and then stepping down some steps to the slope.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness
All hand and bath towels were dirty. Showing stains of past users, and lazy cleaners. Upon check in, the back door of the unit was left open. The room smelled of stagnant air, like walking into a moist cloud of poorly aged oxygen.

This guest did not reach out to us at all during their stay, otherwise I would have been more than happy to run them by any additional items that they needed. My condo is VERY clean and I can assure you that it does not smell of any sort. I believe that this review was more based on wanting a refund than it was for accuracy, which is quite disappointing.
