This Beachfront/Oceanfront 1800 sq. ft. , 3 BR, 2.5BA condo offers spectacular panoramic views of Bahia de Banderas Bay. It is nestled into a peaceful cove, surrounded by lush and colorful tropical plants. It is situated on the finest private swimming beach in the Puerto Vallarta area. This is a gated community with 24 hr. security and a highly service oriented English speaking staff. Our unit is located on the 7th floor of an end building. The views are panoramic and unobstructed. The condo was fully renovated during the Summer of 2015 in a comfortable high end modern style. It now boasts Crema Nevada marble floors throughout, custom tiled bathrooms, onyx and marble counter tops, all new appliances and fixtures, and a beautifully updated decor. The unit is completely equipped with everything you might need. Dishes, utensils and cookware are plentiful. The bedrooms feature comfortable beds with hotel quality mattresses and linens. There are two King suites and one double with its own half bath. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning unit. Off the Living Room and the Master Bedroom is a spacious balcony where, at the end of another day in paradise, you can watch the dramatic sunsets that are typical in PV. During the day, it is your perch to watch pelicans, dolphins or whales passing by.

Nothing separates you from the white sandy beaches other than the 3 inviting, heated swimming pools. These are child friendly with shallow ends, and there is even a separate area for toddlers in the infinity pool. The impeccable manicured grounds and gardens are rich with tropical trees, plants and flowers. One of the gardens features a common area with grills. The beach is beautifully maintained, and the staff provide beach chair and umbrella service on request.

There is a mini-mart next door for basic needs, including beer, wine and tequila, and a wonderful Palapa beach restaurant, built on the rocks, at the waters edge. They feature a great happy hour, delicious food, and reasonable prices. One short walk across the sand and you are there!

Taxis are called for you through reception and buses run every 10 minutes to take you to town. This is a PERFECT location: away from the noise and crowds but only 10 minutes away by car from all of the great restaurants, nightclubs, cafes, shops and galleries in the quaint El Centro.

Daily maid service is available at a small extra charge. A private chef can also be arranged. There is a library with private phone booths, and computers with internet connections. The condominium has private WIFI and a wireless Bose sound system to play your iTunes or internet radio. We also provide a CD changer. Parking on the premises is free for guests.

One stroll down the "Malecon" in the center of town, and you know this area is a haven for artists. Our condo reflects this, and is extensively decorated with original paintings by Mexican artists. It offers upscale furnishings, indoor/outdoor seating areas, and comfortable entertaining space. The lighting is designed to make evenings in this condo enchanting!

It is an idyllic launching pad for your Puerto Vallarta vacation!

Thank you so much for your hospitality. Your home is beautiful and well maintained, the grounds are magnificent, and the staff is kind and responsive. Bottom line, the property beat my expectations (very few things do)!

I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean beach and a serene environment. We loved it so much that we are looking to purchase a condo in the same community.

Awesome Getaway!

This condo lived up to its description. The views were the best that I have ever experienced. I don’t think that we ever closed the doors to the patio! Although we were here over the New Year, the beach was never terribly crowded. The water was very clear and refreshing. The restaurant/bar at the next door condo was casual, but good. Everything else was about a $7 cab ride away. We ate in for breakfast and lunch and had everything we needed. The pictures shown are exactly what it looks like.

Best Kept Secret in PV

Place was amazing - the views spectacular, the beach pristine and crystal clear shades of turquoise, aqua and blue. Saw dolphins playing from the veranda, saw a whale breach on the final day of our stay. The amenities are on point - High end, perfect for a family getaway, or a romantic stay - quiet, far enough away from the Romantic Zone to relax, but close enough for the fun. The staff are so friendly and full of recommendations for the area. Excellent snorkeling just off the beach, skip the fishing excursions in town and head to Mismaloya to book. Must check out Yelapa and try the famous banana pies. If you stay, skip the touristy restaurants and try Tony's Hideaway in Mismaloya - amazing food and great rustic appeal. No menu, just offering what was caught fresh that day.

Bus stop right out side the condo for $8 Peso each - or a cab station right there as well. The beach and view alone are worth the booking.

We used Vallarta Transfers and Incentives for round trip airport transfers for the group of 5 adults - included a supermarket stop and they guided us though the market to help make selections on must try produce. Amazing husband and wife team, they also stopped at a local street taco stand for a quick lunch, stand owned by her uncle and they lets us sampler each taco before our order!

A huge thank you to Bruce & Monika for sharing this amazing place. We are sure to return!

Best kept secret!

I hesitate in writing this review for selfish reasons, I wish I could keep it all to myself! This property is beautifully maintained, the people who work there are helpful, the pools are quiet and lovely and the beach is our favorite! We haven't found nicer water and even snorkeled a bit. Taking the bus to town is an adventure, don't worry you'll get the hang of it. We never rent a car in PV, the taxis and busses are reliable and cheap. We make most of our meals and never get sick but we do take Pepto regularly. I can't wait to return to this peaceful place!!!

5 Stars Across the Board!!

I cannot say enough to express how beautiful this property is! The view, the appointments and the amenities were all extraordinary! We were 4 adults traveling with 2 children (ages 2.5 and 7 months) and the condo was impeccably clean, safe and perfectly laid out for our family. The grounds, pools and surrounding area are incredibly well-maintained. The entire complex is gated and guarded, and we felt very safe throughout our stay. The adjacent market and restaurant at Girasol Sur were very convenient and made it easy for us to grab a quick bite to eat or items we forgot in town.

Monika and Bruce were very easy to work with and answered us promptly every time we contacted them. You can tell that they truly care for their property and wish their guests a pleasant trip! We will be back!

We are a professional couple living in Atlanta, GA, and are co-owners of this property with my brother, who is a physician in Denver. We both have large families, with 8 kids between us, and are not able to visit Puerto Vallarta as often as we would like. We have decided to open our home to discerning vacation renters.

Why Bruce Moore chose South Zone

My family has been vacationing in Puerto Vallarta since the 1980's. This town has always held a special attraction due to its great blend of old world Mexican charm and access to upscale, modern amenities such as great restaurants and fabulous art galleries. Playas Gemelas is in the perfect location, with easy access to town, yet, the atmosphere is peaceful and unhurried - a perfectly private little slice of paradise.

What makes this condo unique

Since previously my parents lived in PV several months out of the year, this condo is appointed and equipped as a home, not a rental unit. You will not find bare cupboards and a few utensils here. Most everything you will need is provided. This Summer we completed a total renovation of the unit, and it is new and crisp. There are locally owned supermarkets and fish vendors in town, and a WalMart, Sam's Club and Costco by the airport. The fresh seafood is not to be missed! For some quick, basic items there is a small grocery in the Girasol building across the beach - yes, they carry beer, wine and tequila. If you are not interested in cooking, there are many wonderful restaurants within easy reach.
