Miss Bea Haven was even better then we expected. Emily was our host while we stayed at the villa. She met us at the airport and we followed her to the grocery store, Seaside, which is only about 8 minutes away from Miss Bea. Emily was a great host. She made sure we were set and we did not have any questions. She recommended where we could eat that night since we were beat from our flight from St. Louis. She also recommended Ziggy’s Island Market which is the place to go to. It is only a little over 5 minutes from the villa. We had sent an email to Emily asking for other recommendations on where to eat, where to shop and activities to do on St. Croix. She replied back with her recommendations and they were all spot on. Teri handled the reservations and any questions we had before we arrived. Teri was very professional and prompt. The views from the villa are killer. And as previous posts have stated, the kitchen is well stocked. We did not expect everything that was available in the kitchen. Everything that we needed to make dinners and breakfasts were available. The plunge pool was used everyday, as well as the fantastic outdoor furniture. We really enjoyed our stay at Miss Bea. The beach towels are top of the line and were very soft. Came in handy around the pool area as well as the beach. The beach chairs were used when we went to Coakley Bay/Beach and were either new or barely used. Prune Bay (Miss Bea Haven) is the closest beach and this is really a beach that is all yours. It was rough while we were there, but a great walking beach. Chenay Beach is a little further, but this is a very calm beach. This is also where you can rent kayak’s or paddle boards. While we were there, a couple rented a kayak and kayaked over to Green Caye to do some snorkeling. The caye is only about 10 minutes from the beach. Chenay is a long beach and ends at a marina which has some good swimming at this end of the beach. This marina is part of Tamarind resort. But, our favorite beach was Coakley. It really is only under 5 minutes from the villa, heading east. Good thing we had a jeep since the dirt road into the area is pretty potholed with one hole that would gobble up anything, even the jeep. But, the beach is rather long for St. Croix’s east end and is very peaceful. It also was rougher and more breezy than Chenay while we were there which was good since it was very hot. Needed those winds to cool us off. Discovered that there is a path at the end
Let me start off by saying that the property looked EXACTLY like the pictures. When we first walked in, the view captivated us all. Most of
our time was spent outdoors on the patio enjoying the grill, the pool, and the AWESOME view. However, indoors the house had its own charm, as well. The owners provided an abundance of linens so no need to even bring your own if you don’t want. Additionally, there was a fully stocked supply of your daily needs such as plates, cutlery, toaster oven, coffee (and filters), paper towels, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and even a plethora of insect repellents. The list goes on and on. I am big on cleanliness and this house met my expectations. There were a few stray hairs from someone likely blow drying their hair, but nothing to write home about. Emily and Teri were great to work with and covered every detail one could think of. Teri was your first point of contact prior to arrival and promptly responds to your emails. Emily was your on-island contact for those last minute questions or (God forbid) emergencies. There was even a guide on what to expect in St. Croix for first timers. My (now) husband and I had an intimate vow ceremony at the property. He grew up on this beautiful island, so we had the opportunity to celebrate our love in front of a handful of family and friends. We will forever cherish these moments and look forward to spending another vacation (or two or three) at Miss Bea Haven in the very near future!! Stay there and you won’t regret it!
We stayed at Miss Bea Haven for a month. It was absolutely fabulous! Eryn, the house manager, is such a gem and immediately available if you need anything.Otherwise, you're left to yourself to enjoy the home. Beaches are very close as is great food! Grocery store a short drive and has everything you need. The house is very well appointed and lovely. The dipping pool is so welcoming for those warm days! We've been to St Croix in the past and stayed on the East End. I would highly recommend this property!

We have stayed at Miss Bea Haven four times now and we love this house. Beautiful views of the Caribbean from almost every room in the house, covered deck area and poolside. Very comfortable outdoor living furniture under the deck area plus sun loungers around the pool. We spent most of our time outside so a comfortable outdoor environment was a must. The owner has taken great care to provide every possible amenity. Fully stocked high-end kitchen. Excellent cookware, knives, kitchen items. The house was immaculate. The master bed was extremely comfortable with quality bed linens. Loved watching the sun rise from the bed! So convenient to local restaurants and bars and a short drive to Christiansted. My very favorite thing was the splash pool which we enjoyed every day. Our property manager Emily was great to work with. She made sure everything was perfect for our arrival and was available whenever we had a question or needed assistance. We were in good hands. Can't wait to come back to Miss Bea Haven. There is no doubt the owner wants a great vacation experience for his guests when he continues to take such excellent care of Miss Bea Haven year after year. A great find for this private pool home on the East end!
My mother, sister and I stayed at this property during our vacation to St. Croix from June 10, 2016 through June 19, 2016. We absolutely loved it. It is situated at the top of the hill so there is a fantastic view of the Caribbean Sea. There is a beach that is within 5 minutes of the house (walking). The neighborhood is quiet and is cooled by the sea breeze. The wading pool was a great addition to this rental as a way too cool off after spending the day at the beach. The loungers by the pool are great for relaxing on while enjoying morning coffee. Every item you could possibly need is located in this rental. This rental was also decorated beautifully. Whomever decorated spared no expense. This rental is close to Christianstead. It never took us more than 10 minutes to drive there. The Buccanneer, Chenay Bay and Tamarind Reef are less than 10 minutes away and have great beaches to relax on. Another great feature of this property is the hospitality of the caretakers. Traci met us at the airport so that we could follow her to the property. Upon arriving she showed us where everything was and provided us with a lot of information regarding the island and the surrounding area. My family and I would love to buy the villa but we will settle for renting each summer :).
Miss Bea Haven was a great rental house. Teri (administrative agent) and Traci (our on island helper) were central to our having a great vacation. Both were responsive and had the answers to all our questions. The house is spacious, filled with the amenities you need, and outside - well that was what attracted us to the house in the first place. The view is great- we had double rainbows one morning! We enjoyed that pool deck EVERY MORNING- rain or shine (we had some iffy weather ) There was plenty of room to spread out. The pool although small, was plenty big to float in or just refresh one's self. Wifi worked great. This is a place you can hang out at- no need to go to the beach! Location- well a little farther out than we thought as we did like Rainbow Beach in Fredrikstad and Cane Bay beach. BUT we also liked the Buccaneer's main beach and Shoy's beach. Chenay, ok but we wanted to explore more. The drive to the house ok, the driveway is a little tricky. We also were very close to cheeseburgers restaurant and it was good to grab a quick meal (we do not cook on vacation!) What i really liked about this house is that instead of cleaning out everything that is in it from guest to guest- they leave clean useable goods for the next person. (sun lotion, bug spray, unopened food products) Thanks for that!
