The Lone Star cabin in Twain Harte was magnificent. It was a perfect size for our family and it had everything we could have asked for. The AC was a must and it made for comfortable sleeping. The hosts were excellent and the beds were comfy with lots of extra pillows. Location was great and overall it was a perfect week spent in TH,

This is a beautiful property. It really worked for our family because it had a nice backyard for our grandchildren to play. They ranged in age from 1-10. We liked that the space was fairly flat so we didn’t have to carry everything up flights of stairs just to get to the kitchen. Easy walk to Twain Harte and a 30 minutes drive to Pinecrest.

House accommodated our multigenerational group well. Kitchen was well equipped, the large dining room table was also great for games, and the hot tub was an added bonus. We loved the gas fireplace and the kids had a great time hanging out upstairs. Entrance was level which was important for the older folks in our group. Overall it was a great stay.

Wonderful home!!!

Fantastic Vacation

Lone Star Lodge is the best cabin we have ever rented in Twain Harte. It's perfect for a large family gathering, from oldsters to youngsters.

Wonderful stay!

The cabin is beautiful, cozy, spacious and well located! We really enjoyed being by the fire and watching movies in the spacious upstairs room. The kitchen was well stocked and all up to date. We highly recommend staying here!

Great place to be at for a family vacation!!! Accommodations fit our group of 16 except one couple had to sleep on twin beds but we had 4 couples.

This is our Summer, Fall & Winter get away!

We have been staying here since 2011! Jackie & Allen are almost like family. We have had our children and grandchildren coming to Twain Harte for over 50 years & this home is the best!!

Lovely Cabin in Convenient Location

This is a really nice cabin with a great kitchen, large outdoor area and lots of amenities. It’s a short drive or walk to the shops in Twain Harte. Highly recommend.

Amazing winter retreat

We had a wonderful stay at Lone Star Lodge! The house was in great condition, everything was clean, and it was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Jackie was so helpful and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay here again on our next trip to Twain Harte.

Family ski trip

We had a great stay at this property. The home was large with plenty of room and space for our family of 5. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Great location near town, restaurants and a park for our kids. 30 min from skiing and tubing. Overall a wonderful home. The hosts were very communicative and provided great recommendations.

Yearly Twain Harte Family Vacation

Lone Star was a very nice cabin, we did have a full house. I think the outdoor area was out favorite place to hang out! Kids enjoyed the swings, and we made s’mores in the fire pit. Lots of seating for the whole family to enjoy our meals outside!😊. Another plus is the lake privileges!
