Based on the reviews I had high expectations and they were met. Booby was an awesome host in terms of responsiveness and execution.As soon as my wife & I walked through the door when we arrived we knew this place was a standout. Ocean views out of every room in the home on both levels. We saw whales frolicking front & center on a daily basis.5 minutes from One & Only and The Shoppes at Palmilla. Gate security was friendly and added a layer of comfort but the area is very safe.Quiet evenings, laundry facilities, well equipped kitchen and gorgeous pool/spa.A special thanks for pre-stocking the fridge with plenty of water bottles...perfect!We'll be back Bobby!

Relaxing retreat

The neighborhood was so quiet. It was a great spot for whale watching and just a short walk to a huge beach. We had a great time. Ariel our host was great to work with.

Another amazing stay!

This was our second stay at this lovely home. Lots of space, clean and the most amazing views of the ocean. We loved watching the sunrises in the morning and then all of the whales swimming by. We will be back soon!

Amazing Location!

Loved the location of this property. It was so easy to get everywhere from here. The Mercado up the street was amazing, we took all of our freshly caught yellowfin there and each vendor would make us something different with it, everyday. The grocery store up the street was great too. The house was awesome and the owner was so easy to work with, he helped us get a car and everything. We did go to the beach near the property which was really nice and secluded but honestly the public beach next to the Palmilla was even better to swim in. Highly recommend Casa Cielo!

We loved our stay at Casa Cielo. The home is beautiful and has wonderful views of the ocean, perfect for whale watching! Also, being just 10 minutes away from San Jose is a plus!The owner was easy to communicate with and he made sure we had what we needed throughout our stay! House manager was there to greet us and was very helpful showing us all the ropes of the home!It’s a must to use Ariel and Rosie to prepare a wonderful meal! Better than most restaurants!!We can’t wait to come back and stay at Casa Cielo!

Great house, great location, great host!

We stayed as a group of friends and had a wonderful time! The house is spacious and each room has its own bathroom. The outdoor pool was so nice, with breathtaking views. We had Ariel as our concierge and he was FABULOUS! We had a private chef, he booked us transportation and he went grocery shopping for us. Truly a wonderful stay, would love to go back!

Great location, with lovely views

We were very happy with this rental. The house was spotlessly clean, and well equipped. The location, in a quiet gated community very close to the Palmilla One & Only, was perfect for us. We had a couple of minor requests of the property manager, which were addressed quickly and easily. Definitely a great choice for the area.

Overall very good

The house is spacious and the views are great. It is a good value relative to the houses down the beach in Palmilla proper. Beach is great. The furniture and kitchen need updating, but again...it is a good value.

Casa Cielo May 2025

Overall it was a fantastic house. Everything worked well and our family enjoyed the beautiful pool and being able to grill and eat outside. The ocean view from every room was amazing. Bobby & Ariel were terrific answering my many questions and arranging having necessary baby & kid stuff at the house upon our arrival. My only suggestion is to perhaps update some of the furniture as it was a bit worn..It's is the same as was posted on the website when it was new in 2010. Time to update!! We would absolutely stay again on a future visit. Thanks :)

Spring Break with Family

We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay at Casa Cielo! The owner, Robert, was very easy to deal with and responded quickly. We used the concierge, Diego, and he helped us with everything. Even got us a reservation at a restaurant where we tried and had no luck at all. The home is beautiful and exactly as described. So roomy and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were great and the view was amazing! Beach was nice but we went over to the Palmilla beach as it was a little more swimmer friendly and active. Less than 5 minute drive and easy parking. Location of Casa Cielo was perfect for us. Gated community so we felt completely safe. Grocery store right across the street. 20 minute drive to Cabo San Lucas which was fine but just 10 mins. to downtown San Jose, which we prefer. Great restaurants there and more laid back. Overall we highly recommend and would gladly come back if it works into our plans. Thank you Robert for opening your home to us!

Incredible view, total privacy, super safe neighborhood - most amazing stay in Cabo

The house is stunning and the views are everything. From the minute you walk in, you are greeted by open portrait windows straight to the water. Being up on the mountain a bit make the views all the more spectacular. We spent as much time as possible outdoors with all doors and windows open to the house both upstairs and downstairs. The weather was perfect and the neighborhood is so safe. We were never worried about a thing. The walk to the beach is super short and it was basically an exclusive private beach. Best kept secret in Cabo! We loved our morning beach walks. The house is well stocked and had everything we needed, and having a super nice grocery store across the highway is a huge perk. The owner is super responsive and very helpful. We also used the concierge who took care of everything we needed during our stay. We highly recommend getting a chef waiting for you upon arrival with a delicious lunch after your travels! The concierge also hooked us up with massages at the house, and you truly cannot beat that experience. Every room has a view of the ocean except for the double beds room, which opens to its own private patio area. The teens with us loved that room as it gave them a little hideaway from the rest of us adults. Can't rave enough about our experience at Casa Cielo. We will definitely be back!

Had a great stay for the Christmas week in Cabo. This house is on one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Cabo.Very private and you share with Palmilia residents. Had some minor issues which got handled quickly but overall a wonderful week with family. We had a chef and butler for several days which made it a true vacation for all.

Family Xmas Reunion

There were 10 of us and with two blowup mattresses we were very comfortable. Great layout for hanging out & dining in … we had two chef cooked meals that were fabulous! Diego the concierge was so helpful & friendly & responsive as was David the house/maintenance manager. The bathroom towels could use a bit of an upgrade & some lights & light fixtures weren’t working. Overall great experience & I’d definitely go back if a house that size was needed! Amazing beach!!!

Views you'll never get tired of

Can't say enough about this villa. The pictures don't do it justice. Just about every part of the house has an amazing view of the ocean. The pocket doors that retract into the walls are a very nice touch. Plenty of outdoor space. We loved hanging by the pool and hot tub watching the whales do their thing...amazing! Great location. Short drive to San Lucas and a brand new upscale grocery store right across the highway. The welcome package with restaurant recommendations and directions Bobby sent was also nice. The house is very well equipped with everything you'll need including beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and toiletries. Probably one of the most beautiful beaches we'd been to. Diego, the concierge was great. He linked us up with a photographer and we had family portraits done at the beach!. He also had a chef prepare breakfast and dinner on our last day. We hated leaving and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful Villa With Amazing Views

Casa Cielo was perfect for our annual friends vacation! From the moment you walk in, the views are breathtaking! The villa was clean, spacious and is in a beautiful gated community! Robert, was great to work with and is very responsive with any questions we had. The whales put on an AMAZING show for us this year! The villa was clean, well stocked and had a great layout with a spacious kitchen and living area! Casa Cielo is located in the corridor area of San Jose Del Cabo, about 15 minute drive to downtown San Jose, the new Fresko grocery store is across the highway and has everything you might want, including fresh squeezed juices for your morning breakfast on the patio at Casa Cielo! The pool and hot tub with waterfall was perfect for our group! We all had an amazing stay and will definitely be back! We ate at Sardina Cantina a couple times! They have AMAZING clam chowder and a wonderful breakfast burrito! We also had dinner at Habanero’s Gastro in San Jose and it was the BEST! We highly recommend and will definitely make that part of our annual tradition to San Jose Del Cabo! We highly recommend Casa Cielo!

Wonderful location

We had a wonderful time at Roberts home. We had a couple of issues, the staff and Robert were on it. The only negative thing is the home is rented a lot and is getting a lot of wear and tear. It need some updating. Other than that we had a fun time lounging in the pool and watching the whales from the pool.

Beautiful for whale watching and beach access

This place has a lot going for it. First of all the views are beautiful from the spacious lower deck, pool, hot tub, and top deck. The whales put on quite a show this year and we all spent lots of time here. Second, the location is one of the best in the area. You have an easy walk to the beautiful Palmilla beach, where swimming and snorkeling are possible most days. It is directly across the highway from the Fresko grocery store which is fabulous and has a great coffee shop. Less than two miles away is Palmilla golf club and shops and some decent little restaurants. It's a fifteen-minute drive to downtown San Jose where there are many shops, restaurants and galleries. And it's just a couple minutes further to the San Jose Marina and Flora Farms. Robert was very helpful and responsive. He gave us advice on golf courses in the area. We played Palmilla and we were not disappointed. Overall it was another great experience in Cabo.

INCREDIBLE Property with Breathtaking Views!

The home was stunningly beautiful from the moment we walked in and our experience could not have been better while there. The booking process was seamless as the owner is very available to answer any questions we had about the house and Cabo in general. The house was easy to find, very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed, such as toiletries, a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of beach towels. We were a group of 8 people, and there was plenty of room both inside the house and outside by the pool. The concierge, Diego was a great resource. He had a chef cook dinner and breakfast for us and also booked a fishing trip for us. The house is very conveniently located… close to the grocery store, restaurants and most importantly, walking distance to the beach. The beach is basically private as there was almost no one on it. The best part of the house is the incredible view. Almost every single room has a breathtaking view of the ocean. The infinity pool and hot tub make you feel as if you’re floating just above the ocean, and the bedrooms face the sunrise. We never wanted to leave the house! Thank you for an amazing stay!
