Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean beautiful home. If you want privacy this is a rental for you. Amazing scenery with a beautiful view of the stars at night. Two issues accrued. One with no hot water, one with heat would not shut off. The professional/friendly service person arrived quickly and fixed both issues. The pond is small and the pontoon rental was not as enjoyable as it could have been. That is my fault for not verifying before my rental.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a perfect week at SPDIOR. This was the former site of our family's camp from the late 1960's to the early 1980's. The old camp is no longer there, but the newer cottage was well appointed and very comfortable. It was fun to see that the shed and the firepit I helped build were still there. The views are still spectacular, and the pond is still serene. Midweek, Camp Encore/Coda appeared to be starting up for the season, so we enjoyed faintly hearing some music from across the cove.

Reviewer Comments: This is the 3rd summer that we have stayed at SPIDOR rental on Stearns Pond. The 4 bedrooms gives us space for our large family! It is very peaceful and clean. The music camp down the road is not overbearing and you hear kids practicing on instruments throughout the day. It’s a small pond with not much boat traffic which is nice for canoeing and fishing. The house is well kept, a big kitchen and a large deck for meals.
