Looking for a tranquil, uncrowded vacation spot on the quiet end of the beach? Whether your idea of a vacation is watching the sunset from your own balcony, sitting by the pool, or lounging on the silvery white sand by the azure water, Mariner East 406 can fulfill your fantasy. From the living room, kitchen, or dining area, an uninterrupted view of the Gulf of Mexico is yours. There is always plenty of room since there are only 58 units in Mariner East, and these are among the widest and largest one bedroom units on Panama City Beach—no crowding at the pool, on the beach, or at the elevator. Being right on the beach, it is easy to run back up for something you might have forgotten or to grab a bite to eat. Should you decide to dine in, all of your food preparation items are provided. When you don’t want to cook, a myriad of good restaurants are close by, as are all kinds of entertainment venues; deep sea fishing, boat and jet ski rentals, parasailing, golf and amusement parks are just a few of the many possibilities. St. Andrews State Park is a couple of miles down Thomas Drive and the new Pier Park shopping and entertainment complex is only a short driving distance away. For those who prefer to fly, the new Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is just a few miles north of Panama City Beach.

It will be easier to pack for your trip here since we provide hair dryers in each bathroom, four generous beach towels, four beach chairs, a beach umbrella, sand toys, and a small cooler.

Improvements in late 2016 include new custom bathroom vanity cabinets with quartz countertops and new faucets; kitchen cabinets were refurbished with new doors and drawers plus a new corner cabinet unit was added. A new stainless steel microwave was installed over the range allowing for more counterspace. A new stainless steel dishwasher was installed late summer, 2016. Custom room-darkening shutters were installed in the bedroom in late 2016. Improvements done in December, 2015 include under-counter lights and over-sink lighting in the kitchen that accents a new tile backsplash; new can lighting in both bathrooms; and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Upgrades for 2013: master bath--a new 5-ft. tile shower with glass doors; second bath--a new tub with tile surround and glass doors; new couch and loveseat, new coffee table and end tables, tv bench, and flat-screen television. 2012 improvements: new plank-style tile throughout the unit, .

The kitchen has solid surface countertops with undermount sink, a smooth-top range, stainless steel microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker. All typical small appliances are included.

The living room has a comfortable couch (sofa-bed), loveseat, and recliner from which you can watch the new flatscreen television/DVD/blu-ray player or just enjoy that magnificent Gulf Coast view.

The generous dining table easily seats six and is surrounded by mirrored walls which reflect light and the beach view. The mirrors extend the entire length of the dining and living rooms.

The bedroom has two queen-sized beds, a large dresser, a flat-screen television and its own bathroom. A great convenience is the second full bath located off the hallway. Silky sheets and plenty of soft, thick towels make your stay more comfortable. We offer a wide variety of pillows (down alternative, medium, firm, and memory foam) to meet your preference.

A heavy-duty washer and dryer are provided in your own laundry room with plenty of space to store any extra belongings.

The unit has its own wireless network allowing guests to access the internet from any room with no extra charge.

The front door is secured by a hospitality-grade electronic lock system that enables us to generate a different code for every guest, so your code is specific to you and the dates of your stay. No concerns that a previous guest might have access to your unit, and no worries about forgetting your key!

About The Owner

Before retiring we were (respectively) a high school teacher/counselor and the assistant director of a Big Ten university real estate department. We brought our own children to Panama City Beach for vacations for many years and now enjoy having our grandchildren visit as well.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2003

Why The Owner chose Panama City Beach Area

After staying at many condominium projects up and down Panama City Beach for over twenty years, we realized that Mariner East offered what we were looking for in a vacation spot: a small, quiet, family-oriented development with a large share of the beach in proportion to its population and a straight-on view of the beach from the living area. These units are some of the widest one-bedroom units on the beach, and with only six floors and 58 units, it is never crowded at the pool, on the beach, or the elevator.

What makes this condo unique

Mariner East is close to many activities, but because of its location on the quiet end of the beach, our guests are not subject to the crowds and noise of large developments housing thousands of people. There is a wide expanse of beach for Mariner East guests, and it is especially nice to be able to look off your balcony and easily locate friends or family members on the beach or at the pool.

This condo is excellent. Location was great. The beach was not crowded. Condo was decorated nicely and had all the conveniences of home. Communication with owner was prompt and very easy. I will definitely try to stay here again.

The condo was perfect!! The condo is located on the 4th floor with a gorgeous view of the beach. Very clean and fully stocked with everything you need when away from home. The owners are very nice and easy to work with!! Thanks for sharing your condo and making our vacation a fantastic one!!

Girls getaway

This condo is very nice, very clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful view of the beach and had beach chairs and umbrella's and beach towels furnished with unit, which was an extra bonus. The beds were comfy with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The furnishings were in great shape and plenty of seating for the 4 of us. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we so enjoyed our stay. You won't be sorry with this unit

Wonderful Condo - Amazing View!!

Our family of four stayed here in April 2016. This condo is beautiful. I feel the pictures do not do it justice. It's very large and nicely decorated. Everything was very clean, and there is an abundance of towels and pillows. The laundry room is great and very useful for the beach. The highlight of the condo is definitely the large balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. You are right on top of it. And we loved the location. It is not near the crowded high rises of Panama City Beach. We were there for spring break, and it wasn't crowded. The beach was populated with adults and families mostly. The owners were very professional. We would definitely stay here again! Also it's only a mile or so from the St. Andrew's State Park. We took the ferry to Shell Island for the day and that was lots of fun too.

Excellent Condo

I have stayed at many condos in PCB over the years. This unit was fantastic. The view was excellent and not obstructed. I personally liked the fact it had a recliner and that the living area was quite spacious. The owners were professional. My deposit was returned promptly. This unit and the pool and grounds were in great shape and well-maintained. I stayed a month and would highly recommend the Mariner East and particularly this unit.

Our family truly enjoyed this beautiful condo. It had everything we needed so packing was lighter. We enjoyed being able to grill out on the balcony. The floor are wonderful with the beautiful porcelain. Thank you for opening up your place to us. We hope to stay again next year
