About this property

QuarterMaster’s House private road next to greenbelt. Close to many restaurants

Ranch style House at end of private road. Scenic mtn views.
Close to park, Truckee river, 35 minutes to 5 ski resorts. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and one mile to Boomtown. Private location. No traffic on pvt road. This is a 720 sq ft ranch style house built in 1903. Had had recent remodel. It is lovely, quiet, surrounded by fields and has great Mountain View’s. Back deck with BBQ- Gas. It is a historic property and many remnants of the frontier can be found in adjacent greenbelt. It has leather couches and antique area pieces. It is a little rustic but modernized with the exception of no dishwasher. We are on well water that is great for your skin.

Envy of the hotel guests

Great experience. Beautiful front yard and back patio. Humble interior design. Loved the natural landscaping and the visit from the local deer. Most of our family stayed at a hotel nearby. A couple of friends visited our VRBO and were instantly impressed and relaxed. Definitely wouldn’t drink the water though. It was a very pleasant stay overall. Thank you for opening up your home to us and for the hospitality.

Why they chose this property

It is a quiet neighborhood with great views and is close to all the ski areas. We are 35 minutes to every ski resort. Plus there are theee great restautants within walking distance. As well as a fun bar, NiteCap which has designer drinks and live music.

What makes this property unique

Historic and lots of deer. Located next to greenbelt. There is no one else on the private road. You can find cool antiquities from the 1800’s.
