DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
Gulf Dunes Resort, unit 107 is a beautiful beachfront, full 1 bedroom condo with an ocean view. The private balcony of Gulf Dunes Resort, unit 107 faces the ocean (Gulf of Mexico). Gulf Dunes Resort, unit 107 comes complete with hallway bunk beds, a full kitchen, 1 1/2 bath, living and dining area, pullout sleeper sofa, Cable TV, WiFi, and much more. Unit 107 comes with one covered parking space and uncovered spaces for additional vehicles.

This is a 'NO SMOKING' unit which will sleep six people. The Master Bedroom has a King Size Bed. There are Two Single Bunks in the main hall, and there is a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the den. There are upgraded flat-screen TV's and Hi Speed Internet Capability. The Full Kitchen is equipped with the Latest in Appliances...Dishes, Silverware, and Cookware are included. There are Linens, Towels, and a private Washer / Dryer for your convenience.

The balcony is equipped with chairs for a Relaxing Evening in the Breeze. The Scenery is complete with both a breathtaking View of the Gulf and the Sounds of the Waves breaking on the Beach. You will also be close enough the the Pool to easily communicate with those of your party who are on the Pool Deck.

Gulf Dunes Resort, unit 107 is located above the covered parking area and is directly over one of the 2 pool decks. Covered parking is provided for one vehicle and additional uncovered spaces are also available.

Enjoy breathtaking Sunrises and Sunsets from one of the Cleanest and Most Unspoiled Beaches in all of Florida. Though Destin and its many attractions are only a short drive away, this stretch of Powder White Beach is much more Private. You will enjoy your space in the sand without all of the crowds and noise.

Absolutely safe area. Beach was beautiful. Unit was clean but could use a little update. Didn't lack for anything in the way of cooking or cleaning supplies. Nice to have covered parking. Had an awesome relaxing week. Only one downside, walked over mile down beach and when returned had a hard time identifying the complex. Why is the name of the complex not put on ocean side of building? Most were unidentified so it wasn't just Sunset Dunes. Would be great advertising opportunity.

Great place to stay, perfect location, beautiful view, and very clean! Our first room the ac did not work properly Sunset Rentals sent out a service guy immediately. They were unable to have fixed same day but they relocated us to another condo very quickly. Their customer service was excellent!

We just spent January and February in Gulf Dunes 107. The location was perfect for us. The amenities were great! We would love it if we could stay March also. Maybe do a price cut for long term renters. Just a suggestion. Already made the deposit for next year. Thanks for sharing with us!

Nice view from balcony, saw dolphins almost daily! Loved walking on the beach right outside our door! Kitchen fully stocked. King bed & couch comfortable. Clean towels & linens. Glad we had beach chairs & an umbrella to use! Easy ck-in & ck-out. We liked the location, many fun places to go! Condominium mostly clean but needs a good dusting (baseboards, lamps, & light fixtures) plus smells musty and could use some updates.

Low budget, close to beach, not so clean

This was our first time staying in Ft Walton and will probably be our last time. The location was great but we experienced so much June grass (aka seaweed) that the kids couldn’t enjoy the ocean. The hotel pool was too small and over crowded for this reason. We had friends who were in Rosemary and had no seaweed during their stay. I guess the water quality matches the condo quality. The condo was disgusting. Urine around the toilet, stains on the sheets, dirt and wrappers on the floor in the living area. I spent the first day just cleaning so we could feel comfortable but we never really did. The management company offered to come back and clean but it was too late. They were very helpful and concerned to make things right. So learned a valuable lesson in visiting Florida. Don’t cheap out. My family learned that we need to book earlier and go to destin or further east for better beaches and stay in a hotel or condo with nicer units.

Great Family Vacation

Our family of 5 had a great time staying in this unit. It was clean, quiet, and the resort was a great place for families. It was an easy walk to the beach and an easy drive to all the fun activities in Destin. We would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation July 2021

I would definitely stay again.. Had a great time at this place. Actually unit was bigger than I thought I would be based on the listing but kitchen is a bit tight. Pro: location is awesome, staying on east side of building provides easier access to beach than steps on West side, nice pool view, comfortable accommodations, beautiful beach. Elevator is helpful and carts for unloading you belongs to condo. Nice covered parking. Plenty of pans etc for cooking. Con: being on the 1st floor the dunes are higher than expected so while you can easily see the ocean you can't see waves hitting the shore. Might move up 1 or 2 levels next time.

Condo was very clean and well appointed with linens, kitchen utensils, ect. Furniture was a bit dated but no problem. Internet and TV were iffy due to slow connection or none at all. If you need to work online this unit is not recommended. The unit is on the first floor so the view is of the pool and the dunes. No sandy beach view, only ocean in the distance.

the property was nice the condo could use some updates. the view from the balcony is obstructed from seeing the beach. you can see the ocean. this was stated in the description. owner should check the ceiling above the bathtub and wall down by the bathtub. did have kitchen items u need. plenty of towels, washclothes and hand towels

I think everyone should know exactly what they're getting into when booking a condo so that's why I'm writing this review. I have booked through sunset resort rentals many of times and have never had a bad experience but this room was unacceptable. I'm not sure if the condo owner has not been to visit in a long time or has completely neglected this place. There is mold on the pull out mattress under the mattress protector, the caked on dirt on the curtains is disgusting and is not a one or two time overlook it has been not cleaned for a long time. The sliding doors may have never been cleaned either, I had to purchase windex to clean it myself because you could hardly see out of it. I was given opened laundry packets and opened toilet paper rolls. I wouldn't recommend this room to anyone and will not be booking this room in the further. I understand bugs are a common thing and certain cockroaches are native to Florida but the amount of bugs seen in this condo and in the resort was a bit alarming. I would almost be willing to bet anything that this room wasn't cleaned before we arrived due to the sliding door alone! I wasn't even able to get all the sea salt and dirt off of the doors so who's to say when it was cleaned last. This was not a case of normal wear and tear and things being worn down. I'm a laid back person and is willing to let things slide because I'm understanding of circumstances but this is not okay!

We are so glad to have found this property. We arrived to find very clean and comfortable conditions. Sunset Resort Rentals was so easy to book with, and were very helpful during our stay. One of the pools was being worked on, but there was another so all was well. We hope to return again next year.

Great Condo!

Great location! Condo was clean and everything in good condition. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels. Loved the layout. It was perfect for our family. It is on second floor so view is ok but bonus is that it is close enough to take stairs and not have to wait on elevator. Covered parking and beach chairs and umbrella set up each day were a nice bonus. We will definitely stay here again.
