One Floor Cottage Offering 3 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 Baths - Sleeps 6

Enjoy this quiet wooded setting bordering on Eagles Mere Conservancy. Just a short walk to the Eagles Mere Lake, Outlet Pond, tennis courts and the historic village offering quaint shops and restaurants. Wonderful hikes begin right out the door and at nearby World's End and Ricketts Glen State Parks. Swimming, boating, fishing, biking and golfing are all offered, or just relax in the peaceful setting surrounding the deck and gazebo. Modern conveniences of this three bedroom, two and a half bathroom cottage, include a well equipped kitchen, full size laundry, great room with fabulous river-stone fireplace, sun-room, and large raised deck with screened gazebo and gas grill. The Cottage offers many games, books, high speed Wi-Fi, and TV for indoor enjoyment. Truly a cozy and inviting home away from home!
FULL SEVEN NIGHT RENTAL FROM SAT TO SAT MAY THROUGH OCT. There is a NO smoking and NO pet policy. All cottage rentals are required to obtain a temporary lake membership between Memorial Day and Labor Day, which will include everyone in the cottage for the duration of the stay. Magical Memories

It really is a step back in time to where families slowed down and enjoyed just being together. Swimming in the in the lake, fishing, hiking, choosing from the many board games, remembering how much fun “Twister” could be or choosing a book and just sitting and enjoying the absolute peace and quiet. Our 10 and 7 year old grandchildren even commented that the people seemed so much nicer…..and they weren’t wrong!! It truly is a magical place to stay and the cottage was absolutely perfect with lovely whimsical touches.

lovely fall escape

We enjoyed seeing long time friends and this was a perfect place to get together and view the fall foliage. the village is quiet this time of year, but the rids along the Loyalsock were beautiful. the cottage provided all that was needed.

Enchanting retreat

This enchanting cottage is the perfect haven for a personal retreat, a girlfriends' getaway or a cozy family celebration. This light filled cottage feels spacious, and is just steps away from the path that generations of families have shared on their walks to the village for ice cream, books and sundries. The area is clean, clear, safe, private and beautifully wooded without being isolated. I loved the quiet and the wooded lake--so restful and beautiful. Wonderful to be able to cook in such a fully equipped kitchen, and to be able to do laundry. The woodpile made it all the more inviting for our nightly fires. Everything is thoughtfully supplied for comfort, ease and is cleanly maintained. Whether hiking, biking, or walking into town, this is the perfect place to relax with loved ones, or to find your muse. Build a fire, pull up a book, play a board game, or listen to the wind--you'll leave renewed and grateful that you stayed!

Fall Weekend at Fern Ledge Cottage

Fern Ledge Cottage was the perfect setting for our anniversary getaway. The cottage was spotless and set up with all that was needed to feel right at home. We chose to eat in and the kitchen was very well stocked with all we needed. The location was perfect for our daily bike rides around town and we hiked everyday to different waterfalls. We look forward to our next visit to Eagles Mere.

The whole experience was excellent. Wonderful vacation and a wonderful house. So clean and close to everything but also quiet and relaxing. Especially appreciated the Saturday to Saturday rental option!!

Super home!

Lovely laid back spot in a great setting. Kitchen was well equipped. Owner said she brings her own food and we followed her lead. Great decision as grocery stores are far away and we wanted plenty of time to enjoy Eagles Mere. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful week in Eagles mere

We had a wonderful week at Fern Ledge. The house had plenty of room for us (family of 4 adults) to spread out. The house is in a very quiet area. Enjoyed time relaxing on the deck and made use of the gas grill. Not far from town and the lake. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this house

Nice cottage with quiet backyard. Beautiful deck area with enclosed dining gazebo!

Overall very nice and we enjoyed our stay! Very small kitchen (we called it "the galley") and appliances & TV were older but working. We missed the hammock that was pictured but the lawn croquet was a nice treat! Thank you.

Amazing Cottage! We Will Be Back!

Love, Love, Love this home. Had everything we needed. Perfectly stocked kitchen, large gas grill, quiet location, convenient to lake and trails. The bedrooms were very comfortable and my family wants to return. Spent days on the "beach" at the lake, sailing and canoeing. Each night we went to The Sweet Shoppe for ice cream. Brought my young teenagers and had no worries at all about leaving them at the lake or the trails by themselves! The screened-in porch was my favorite place. Perfect place for family vacation.

Perfect!!

This cottage is a fabulous home away from home. My family and I were pleasantly surprised when we walked through the door to see how open and airy the house is. It was very clean and very well equipped. We absolutely loved the sunroom, the deck and the gazebo. We enjoyed the quiet setting in the woods. The location was perfect for the family reunion dinner we attended at The Crestmont Inn. We drove to the lake, but it is not too far to walk - we were just lazy and wanted to continue on to The Sweet Shop for ice cream :) Renee was so pleasant and easy to work with. If our plans ever take us to Eagles Mere again, we will definitely stay here again.

We have owned this wonderful cottage for many years and always look forward to our return! There is so much to do for both kids and adults in the summer, from swimming in the lake, boating, hiking around Eagles Mere or the state parks, taking in the Athletic Association and Conservancy activities, enjoying a picnic at the beach or a quiet afternoon on our deck reading a book, and then attending the Friends of the Arts events in the evenings. There is always so much to do, or you can enjoy quiet days on the deck and the gazebo. We love going in the the fall to enjoy the beautiful foliage and peaceful time by the fire and quiet walks around the lake. It is wonderful to share this all with our guests, and we love to hear about things they enjoyed and discovered during their visit!

When we were searching for the perfect cottage to call our own we fell in love with the setting of Fern Ledge. We love having the trees and rocks around us yet we are close to everything. It is the perfect getaway!

Our entire family enjoys cooking and baking so a well equipped kitchen is important to us. Guests have commented that our kitchen provided for their every need. Although it is not a large kitchen all four of us do cook together at times.
