The rooms were clean and comfortable. The area is very nice, relaxing, and quiet. This location is very walkable to Eagles Mere attractions and local hiking trails. It was a wonderful experience staying in this home. I would highly recommend this home for vacation getaways.
This rental is conveniently located near the town while also providing easy access to the lake. The unit itself is nice and cozy, a wonderful place to stay for a couple looking for a getaway in Eagles Mere!
Karen was a great property manager. We had a very nice stay and would come again!

I stayed here for 2 nights and I absolutely loved it. The home was clean, spacious, and in a safe area. The host was nice enough to give us the home that had 2 rooms instead of one which was a plus. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a little weekend getaway in this area.
I loved the week we spent in Eagles Mere. The hosts were very accommodating (early check-in, allowed us access to kayaks and canoe, and use of outdoor grill). Great communication with them too.
The property is within view of the Outlet Pond and at the start of many hikes. We did several hikes, and rode bikes on the bike path that starts there too. We also enjoyed picking raspberries out back. Perhaps my favorite aspect of the place was the porch, with a swing and comfy rockers, surrounded by a most beautiful bed of daisies in full bloom. As an artist I appreciated painting the flowers.
The inside is perhaps not quite as modern as some might want, but it suited us fine. The bathroom is small (not for those who need luxury bathrooms) but worked for us. We are outdoors people. All appliances worked fine, and having a washer dryer and full kitchen was great.
We bought a week-long temporary membership to have beach privileges and swam every day there. We had a few close encounters with an eagle, too. Eagles Mere is a wonderful place to vacation. Thanks for making this possible for us through this rental.
A lovely home, Well equipped , quiet and comfortable- close to town . The owner was very pleasant , helpful, and quick to respond to my phone calls. Would return .
Excellent place to stay! A wonderful porch for sitting…rocking chairs, a Swing!, butterflies, flowers and birdsong! Cell phones are a challenge in Eagles Mere. Property provides service via Wi-Fi.
Unit C (ground level) hit all our buttons...reasonable price, comfortable and well-equipped space, excellent location and parking, cleanliness, attentive owners, stores and restaurants all within walking distance. Only gripe about Eagles Mere might be the outrageous fee the Lake Association charges a couple for beach/lake use...unfortunately, that is not within the control of the owners.
Nice property. We were only there for a short weekend to enjoy a wedding in nearby La Porte. The first morning there a herd of deer wandered into the front yard!!!
We enjoyed hiking to Angel Falls and Dutchman Falls. We swam in the lake with our dog.
The house was located near everything. There are trails located right across the street. The lake is a short walk. Eagles Mere Inn has outside dining, so we were able to take our little dog with us.
One bedroom appartment. Nothing fancy, but was clean, cozy and welcoming. My dog enjoyed the area. Nice yard. Great porch. Loved the rocking chairs. Sat outside every night. Nice trail to walk just across the Road. Would stay here again.
I spent a month at this property and it was perfect for me. It had Everything I needed including a dish washer, washer and dryer. The space is very comfortable with room enough for my sisters to visit for an overnight stay. It is located very close to hiking and biking trails and very close to the stores in town. I give this accommodation a 15 on a scale of 1-10. I’m going back next fall for another month!!!

It was our pleasure.
Thank you for renting our house.
Our family has spent the past 25 summers in Eagles Mere and watched our kids grow up here. Our son literally learned to crawl in the sand on the beach! When the kids were young, we filled the house with visiting grandparents and cousins. We have all made very dear friends in this little community and the family gathers here for holidays. This may be the "town that time forgot" but Eagles Mere is never far from our minds. Start your own family tradition here!
Why they chose this property
Porches, the yard and flowers, the Outlet Pond and trails, the proximity to the village, Lake and Conservancy - so much to love and enjoy! The house is clean, well-furnished, up-to-date and comfortable. Mattresses, linens and towels are updated and in appropriate supply. The kitchen is equipped for cooking in and outside on the gas grill. There is no shortage of dishes (inside and outdoors dining), glasses of all types and serving/hostess items. Cooking, bakeware, utensils and small appliances (waffle maker, George Foremen, electric griddle, food processor, crock pot and blender, etc.) are provided. Basic sundries and pantry items included.
What makes this property unique
This first floor (entry from front porch) is a one bedroom apartment. A separate rental , if available, is Lakeshore A with an internal stairway that can be unlocked to connect the two units. My parents loved staying in this first floor "guest apartment" - together with family but affording them a bit of privacy and rest when needed. Staying with a baby is also less stressful providing separate quarters to be up at any hour and not feel confined to a bedroom fearing to disturb the rest of the house.
