Nice property but not very well stocked. There is no place to hang any clothes. Closets in both bedrooms have no dowel rods just a big open space. Coffee makers were great but creamer was just one big hard ball in container. Overall it was a nice place but would not pick it to stay in agian.
Home was clean and updated. Multiple issues with the home: back porch light didn't work, back porch top rail not secure, mini blind in kitchen didn't work, bathroom fan does not work.
The house was clean and as described with cute decor inside. The bbq grill worked great, we got fresh seafood from the Chelsea Rose in Newport and it was amazing! The kitchen is missing a few necessities like an oven mit, scissors, mixing/serving bowls etc. The refrigerator door is broken and needs fixed, it’s very annoying to use. They could add a hot tub to the back patio and that would be perfect. As other guests mentioned it’s right off the 101 but we found the driveway easy to use and the windows of the house blocked out the traffic noise. The bedroom windows are missing screens. As far as beach access goes- you have to traverse the other OBV property to find a rope and a steep cliff which we didn’t even try. We have dogs and honestly anyone who isn’t young and fit probably wouldn’t make it. It’s not for families, older people or pets. It’d be great to see them put in a real path. There’s a great beach 1/4 mile down the road but with no shoulder on the 101 we didn’t feel safe walking it so drove every time we wanted to get to the beach. Overall loved the location close to Waldport and Luna Sea and lots of our favorite Oregon Coast spots.

Taffic Noise
The inside of the house was ok. If the description or photos disclosed the fact thst it is right on highway 101 I never would have stayed here. All night long you hear loud traffic! The deck is sketch. Could definitely use some lo e outside. Al.ost looks abandoned. Trail to the beach was a joke. Fine for a place to stay in a pinch. I personally wont ever stay there again.
Thank you

So the entire house is leaning 1 degree to the South so that’s fun.None of the outside lights work so again, that’s fun (not safe). There was SO MUCH dog hair around the inside of the house that we had to clean before we could relax. Filled the vacuum canister with dog hair. The shower doors aren’t hung correctly so they don’t seal so the floor gets wet.The bathroom vent fan doesn’t work do you can’t vent the moist air out if the bathroom thus your towels never dry.The water heater has to be wired incorrectly, all the house lights on the west side dim and flicker when you are using hot water.Bugs! You have to expect some being at the coast but we killed way too many spiders inside the house. Spray that place! The screen was missing on the South bedroom window so we couldn’t use that to cool the house at night. (Bugs)There was a cool coffee maker but no instructions on how to use it.There was also a pod style coffee maker, had we known it was there we could have brought some BUT the machine was too dirty to use anyway. The walls in the South bedroom had runs off something on them. Food, body fluids? We had to clean that. You couldn't use the closet doors, they are installed incorrectly and are falling apart.Ok with all of that out of the way, our stay was nice. The house location was ok but difficult to access when the road is busy, when is 101 not busy?
We liked the proximity to the beach, but used Driftwood State Park instead of the steep rope climb to the beach. (We are 78 and 70, climbing days are behind us.) We appreciated all the upgrades made to the house. There was no place to hang our clothes. Suggested upgrade: install clothes rods in closets, and coat hooks near washer/dryer.Bathroom overhead light kept flickering, and finally died prior to our departure. Also north bedroom light flickered once.Shower doors are not level, don't stay closed, and rubber edging on shower door fell off.Warped board on deck caused both of us to trip, nearly hit our heads on door frame.Board on north fence in process of falling off.
