Arrive to this secluded ocean getaway and be greeted with spectacularly serene ocean views. This custom home located behind a privacy gate boasts gorgeous ocean views. The deck and sun-room offer areas for dining and great space to take in the scenery. Relax in this home and feel perched above the ocean below. Waking to this wooded, ocean landscape is truly inspiring. This 1 bedroom plus 2nd bedroom loft home is best suited for adults or families with older children. The Master bedroom has a king bed and the loft offers a queen bed. The recently remodeled bathroom is very contemporary and boasts a beautifully tiled floor and shower stall. Laundry is available in the home. The house is filled with lovely art pieces from all over the world. The kitchen has premium appliances and great views. The barbecue is propane and great to use for grilling on the deck and watching the waves below. Take a stroll down the trail to Indian beach and enjoy the serenity of Trinidad's local beaches.

Important Notes:

** Guest reserving home must be 25 years or older, be staying at the property the entire time and will be considered the responsible party for this booking.

** Upon completion of booking reservation guests will be required to sign a rental agreement agreeing to Trinidad Retreats rules and regulations.

Loved the views here. The space itself was comfortable, spotless, and well-equipped, with amenities that made it easy to relax and feel at home. Overall, it was one of those stays where everything just flows smoothly—would absolutely recommend and happily return.FYI: The place was a little difficult to locate, particularly after dark. Arriving while it’s still light out would make the experience much smoother. However, the hosts were easy to reach using the provided contact number, and their directions were clear and helpful.

Stunning ocean view

Stunning location along a forested coastline, with a giant sea view that takes in the harbor, a gorgeous little beach below and on out to the open ocean. Instructions from the operator were concise and clear and not overly demanding. We enjoyed our 3-day stay.

Redwood trip

Loved the view and could hear the waves from the house. Place is a little dated but doesn’t take away from the location! Was comfortable overall. Very close to beach, grocery store and local restaurants. Pizza place was good. We planned this short stay around visiting redwoods, which was great. Then discovered Sue-Meg State Park nearby which was awesome!

20th anniversary get away

This home is everything the description states and more! Incredible views, extremely clean, and equipped with everything you need! I especially appreciated just how squeeky clean the windows were in every room that provided a beautiful ocean view. The hosts think of everything you may need, even a first aid kit and extra toiletries and kitchen items. Trinidad is the cutest little town that provides great food and hikes. We ventured off daily to hike in other areas. Truly a 5 star location!

Amazing Place!

I hope my life leads me to another place as beautiful as this. The view is off the charts amazing. When we first walked in my wife said oh cr@p we’re never going to want to leave. We sat for hours just listening to the waves sipping wine. If you’re picky and need a fancy new place this isn’t it. The kitchen and bathroom are dated, but the place was very clean and setup perfectly with everything we needed. Like others have said - this place is all about the view and location. Trinidad is a beautiful tiny town with everything you need. There is an active (and appears to be brand new) fishing pier that you can see from the place. The lights are on all night but it is not intrusive. We found it cool that it’s an active fishing village. Watching the fishing boats come and go was cool too. Side note: we’ve been burned many times by terrible grills at VRBO’s. The grill is new and in perfect condition. Also, my wife and I both noticed how clean the windows were. This place is all windows and if they had been dirty it would have ruined it. The wall of windows was spotless. Fantastic place!!!

The house is so cozy and located perfectly, nestled in the woods and overlooking the Trinidad Bay Area. Our favorite thing is sitting on the deck watching the sun rise with coffee each morning and then watching the sunset with a cocktail! There is not a bad view from the house or on the deck. The town of Trinidad is very nice and the people are friendly. Choice of restaurants are very good as well. Perfect relaxing getaway!

It is a beautiful view, but the price has increased significantly which makes me pause if it is actually worth it. The owners could make some minor improvements such as new fresh bedding sheets, towels, bedding would help. It is starting to show its outdated decor, wallpaper ripping, carpet worn out. It needs a good face life, to at least justify the cost. But the view is spectacular.
