Crows Nest, on the Bluff over Trinidad Bay, amazing views!

Peace and tranquility will be yours from the comfort of this charming beach house, with its wood burning stove and casual interior. The house is equipped with WiFi and a 42" flat screen LCD tv.

Relax on the deck while overlooking the beaches and Trinidad Bay, where whales often play. A short walking distance brings you to the pier, beaches, small natural history museum, marine lab., restaurants and town center. The house is 10 minutes from the Eureka/Arcata airport with connections to Portland and San Francisco.

The house has one bedroom with a queen bed, and there is a full size sofa sleeper.

The Crow's Nest was perfect for our needs

My husband and I both loved our time at The Crow's Nest. It was the perfect location for our bucket list trip to see the coastal redwoods. It was great getting to watch from big windowed front wall as the fishermen and their fishing boats moored in the bay become active as the sun rose. The house had everything we needed in a very comfortable layout. We lucked out with fabulous weather in February as we both walked the Trinidad to Clam Beach 5.75 mile Run/Walk from the Redwoods to the sea. The Trinidad community is a great walking community. You can easily walk "over town" to the grocery store, restaurants, souvenir shops, and art and history museums, or down to the beaches, Trinidad Head trailhead, the pier, lighthouse replica and the SeaScape Restaurant. All the food we had in town was wonderful. Headies makes the best pizza we ever had, and The SeaScape makes the best blackberry pie ever! We did have to contact Karen as we had a little trouble with the lock box - and she came right over to help us out. We are already telling friends who now think they may like to make the trip to see the Redwoods, that they should check out staying at The Crow's Nest in Trinidad. If we get the chance to go again, we definitely would want to stay there.

Beautiful View and Accessible Location

Second time we have stayed here. We can walk everywhere…the beach, pier, shopping and restaurants! The best part however is the beautiful unobstructed view of the bay from kitchen and living room area. The place, while worn and somewhat dated is immaculate! Someone goes out of their way to ensure the place is spotless. The kitchen is well equipped and user friendly. We will return to this gem of a place.

Best Beach Bungalow

This was our 5th visit to Crow's Nest in as many years so you know we love it. The views of Trinidad Bay & Head are glorious. This super clean sweet home is perfect for 2. Perfect base camp for exploring the Redwood National & State Parks. The beautiful Sue Meg State Park is right up the road. Highly recommend Crow's Nest.

EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS

We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. It was exactly as described. Our host, Karen, went out of her way to make our three night stay enjoyable. Why, she even arranged for sunshine and warm weather each day. We will definitely return for another stay. (Just joking about the weather, but it was as described.)

Unbeatable

This place was amazing; so much so that I've already booked my next stay. There's actually more updated furniture than you see in the pictures, and a hot tub which I had no idea would be there (overlooking the harbor)!

Childhood favorite place

my 3rd time staying at the Crow's Nest and so glad to have met Casey years ago. We have grown up coming to Trinidad my entire life for over 50 years ! Such a treat to bring my cute parents to celebrate their 62 th wedding anniversary ! Thank you Karen for taking good care of us ! upgrades are nice and I love the painted ceiling :) ~ Gina

Perfect stay, as always

This was our fourth or fifth time staying here with our two kids ages 5 and 6, and we will be back again year after year as long as they’ll let us! It is just the most beautiful, cozy home with an enchanting garden and breathtaking views, and walking distance to the beach, cafes, store, restaurants, and hikes. We love not having to use the car much here and the kids spend most of the day frolicking in the garden. I can’t think of a way to improve it, except for one suggestion, which would be to replace the sofa bed in the little room because it’s pretty uncomfortable (even for kids) and swap it for two twins or a full bed or bunk beds or really any other mattress that is meant for sleeping rather than a sofa. I didn’t have to sleep there so still give this place 5/5 stars and will always be begging to come back, but I do think making that second room into more of a sleep room would be much more useful than a random couch in a little room. The crow’s nest is by far my favorite little place to stay in the world, and anyone who gets to stay here should consider themselves lucky!

Trinidad oasis

Trinidad itself is such a cute little town! This VRBO was so cozy and had so much character. We were there for a wedding I was in so unfortunately we didn’t get to spend much time at the rental but would definitely make the trek back out to stay! The location was great walking distance to the Seascape restaurant and pier and would have been easy to walk to the grocery store as well. The rental was clean with plenty of linens available. The hot tub was wonderful! No complaints!
